Patch 2.2.4 - Data:30 is now live!

But then we have screenshot 44 showing the Settlement Management Terminal with 3 homeless settlers
I can't see that screenshot - am I missing something?
Settlement Management Terminal doesn't class a settler with a bed as homeless. Maybe the vitomatic does?

Is that save you shared with me from this game?

I'm very much liking the new reports now. Furthermore, my settlements are no longer displaying bad data in the Pip-Boy. Unfortunately the problem with FO4 hanging on exit to desktop has returned. This problem was occurring years ago in SS1, and caused me to stop playing with Workshop Framework at that time. Workshop Framework is a requirement for SS2 so that is not an option now. However, I can save and exit to the main menu without any problem. I can load and play. I just have to use Task Manager to close FO4 to desktop when I am done. This is not a bad trade-off for the apparently improved stability of settlement data. I just thought you might want to know for the record.
 
Is this an issue with 2.2.4? I have it since I started playing on PC, on 2.2.3. Didn't think it was SS2 related.

I don't think I played 2.2.3, or maybe it started then and I did not think it worth reporting. I don't play very much right now. I'm awaiting Chapter 3, or Starfield, whichever comes first. It wasn't doing it a few months ago, I know that.
 
Any chance for a hotfix for the "Incapacitated" bug?

Would be nice to get rid of the permanent fire in GNN's cafeteria too.

I had a settler become incapacitated after somehow clipping into the hi-tech power plant water room and soaking rads, but bringing her out with the town gavel and then shooting her with the vit-o-matic (not just scanning) seemed to fix it.
 
Do you mean the one Gumshoe had? I don't think we have any idea what caused it. Do you have that issue as well?
As far as I know it's been from radiated water or the radworms disease (which I turned off). There's a thread or two about it located here:


Th link is a summary. It has an additional link to the troubleshooting that the user did. Seems like a flag isn't being switched to false after the settlers recover.

I hadn't tried shooting the settler's with it. I've just started testing it. And, am having some limited success. I have to assign them to a different plot afterwards(sometimes repeatedly), but at least things are building again. I'm often still getting the message with settlers that I've done it with and they will refuse to build some plots though.

Thanks for the tip! My settlements were getting crippled. A partial workaround is still something.

I think the HQ happiness lines aren't triggering for me... started on 2.2.3, now 2.2.4 and Emily still says "This place will be hard to defend", Foggy Winters "I'm afraid I won't be able to open a shop here" (she's not wrong though, she won't ^^). Every single room is cleaned and built up on all floors.

Considering you have about a year wait on starfield I’m thinking chapter 3 maybe first.
 
I still don't get why is the disease cure made at the cooking station rather than a chemistry workbench

A true pessimist would say it is never coming out. I'm hoping for the first half of 2023, as they have stated. Which is about when i figure chapter 3 will be coming out, given when chapter 2 came out. But I'm easy. Whatever happens, happens. :)

that's about the same attitude I have I'm just guessing holidays 2023 because Bethesda and Xbox really want this to be a banger so releasing November would assure more audience for the game vs a spring or summer release. as for chapter 3 only kinggath knows for sure the window on that.

I'm late but this never happened to me since I switched to MO2 with F4SE instead of just MO2.
 
Is Anyone else having problems building plots in hardcore difficulty?
The Junk plots work, but when placing a "Buildings Materials" Plot, I get the "Level 0" and nothing happens. I click on the ASAM and It says "awaiting confirmation" or something to that effect. But When I select it, nothing happens.
Normally you see a notification at the top "Calculating..." and then a pop showing the materials required.

I didn't experience this in the beta.
I cannot even use it at all. Extremely frustrating.

That's how I run it. My save file has gotten quite large. 73 megs now. But I can save and exit to main menu without a problem. It is exiting to the desktop that hangs.

I just now tried loading an older save at only 48 megs. I can exit fine from there. I will try to load at various sizes until I find where it breaks for me.

Edit: It breaks for me between Save 697 @ 59,599 KB and Save 698 @ 59,836 KB. No mod difference between the two. 14 minutes apart.
