Patch 2.2.2 - Side Quest Triage is now live!

Remote Management: I've secure the lounger then waited. Jake called on the pipboy telling it is ready, although the quest don't update as it still saying to wait for Lupe. I go the HQ, Jake and Lupe are in the comms room but no lounger. Jake is actualy telling me to sit in it, but since there is none, hard to do. I even tried to refresh the room but no dice.
me too

I'm happy to report than resource numbers on categories are finally fixed for me. And what I said about 20k being enough for most things was mostly BS since there was never that much resources. When everything updated it was more like 3K. But, not anymore. On a fresh new save, anyway. Elias's quest seems to be working properly as well. Ditched Caleb entirely for an early CPD (that also works), got like 300 gunner scalps since my game is a never ending gunner raid. Kinda made it look like we're already at war and all that. Also Concord starts giving issues around tne time Jake builds defences and there are tons of settlers (may have shot a few...)
Also recruitables seem to really not care that they're in a middle of a killzone and they're standing between me and like 20 gunners. Odette tried to talk to me during that and crashed my game, bless her.
Oh and occasionally caravans still get unassigned after salvage missions when I show up at the settlement. But, that can easily be fixed. And "defend" SS2 quests are kinda wonky, they fail when someone shoots a water purifier but not when I accidentally kill a settler.

I think there’s a glitch in HQ Radio. Cedric contacted me about an outbreak for Is there a Doctor in the House quest, but when conversation was over I remained frozen. Same thing has happened with Remote Management. I managed to bypass the former by going to HQ as soon as How to HQ was completed, so I had to simply talk to Cedric in HQ personally, but I can’t find a bypass with Remote Management.

I posted this in the help section, but I think, I post it here also.

I'm at the collect your allies stage, with all it's frequent gunner attacks. Now I noticed that all my named settlers in the attacked settlements are back to their recruitment dialogues. The SS2 ones as well as the Settlers of the Commonwelath ones. It first happened at Sanctuary, after an attack and now it happened at the Castle as well. They also don't revert back, if you leave and come back a day or two later. They're just stuck with their recruitment dialogues.

Is there any way to "reset" HQ and rebuild everything? I've got several rooms that appear to be under construction but never complete. If I cancel construction, they do not reappear in the menu system, and using the room controls to build them results in an error message (despite having plenty of resources available and setting the HQ preferences to not limit construction based on those resources). I am unable to get enough power to HQ because I can't upgrade the Power Distribution room for the same reason. Not sure if this problem is directly related to recent patches, but I did not encounter it in previous playthroughs using older versions. Thoughts?

I am getting instability in plot assignments. Numbers for one example follow.
At Taffington Boathouse, with 12 settlers, when I first arrived there were by tracking software:
zero homeless
zero jobless
quite a few without a hobby (I did not count how many, but I have enough openings for all of them)
I carefully assigned all the ones without a hobby to the already existing plots, some of which were at level 3 despite having no one currently assigned.
As I did this, I noticed bars decreasing. Sure enough, when I checked again I now had four homeless.
I put the homeless back into their residential plots.
Then I checked the jobless. There were now five jobless.
I put the five jobless back to work.
I cleared the tracking and checked again, as I was noticing the recreational plots were developing vacancies as I was dashing around assigning people back to their beds and jobs.
zero homeless
zero jobless
five without hobbies
I gave up at this point. I had gone to Taffington because it was telling me there was 42 happiness, which should never have happened under the circumstances. The game is acting as if some settlers can only have two assignments rather than three (residential, job, and hobby). At some settlements, specifically the original named NPCs could not even be assigned to recreational (eg Jones and Holly at The Slog) although they had beds and jobs. Sometimes it was an SS2 named settler (eg Maggie Green at Nordhagen Beach) who could not be assigned to three plots. At Taffington Bathouse I don't think there are any named settlers in the official sense (I name them all using what's Your Name by Pra).

During the last gunner attack, pending, while I took over HQ, I ran into the same problem again. The named settlers at Sunshine Tidings being back at their recruitment dialogues.

This issue is under investigation. As the assignment code is complex, it may take a while to find and fix the bug.
Thank you for the reply. I missed that it was a long-standing problem. I haven't played FO4 for quite some time, obviously since that thread was in March. I was waiting for Chapter 3 to drop, which I estimate to be next February. I came back because Conan Exiles upgraded to a version I can't tolerate, and anyway I was homesick for the Wasteland. :D

Started with a fresh save and now at the part when it is time to take HQ. When I go for wait for attack the game fades to black and just keeps loading it and not pass. Hard to figure out what to do. Hopefully can get through it somehow. Had it happen twice and only way out is control+alt+delete.

I can second this, got a quadrant that I cleaned but it never spawned a room controller and never cleaned, doesnt appear in active projects, a way to reset HQ would be helpful.
