Update: 05/15/22: There are now hotfixes for Workshop Framework and Chapter 2. These will resolve issues with plot related quests not updating, and HQ crashing if certain rooms had been built.

Workshop Framework once again has a patch today as well!

For more detailed information, see our cookies page.

  • Workshop Framework can now clean up misplaced items from City Plans and Layouts that end up in random cells!
  • Recreational training plots will now automatically unassign settlers that reach max in that stat, afterwards the plot is put back in the auto-assign queue!
  • Facilities Energy cost of 2-person Living Quarters reduced to 15, which means MALA can now build the first room herself!
  • Nightingales finally given some inventory to barter!
  • TONS of bug fixes!

Xbox players, the versions to watch for when you can safely update are: 57 of SS2, and version 27 of Chapter 2. Starting with this patch, we now have someone at Bethesda monitoring the situation with the Xbox issue of not usually being able to download right away. If you have trouble updating - please respond to this thread and tag me!

Hello,
I'm an active Xbox user at the moment and I'm experiencing problems with this update. It gave me the new updates as it usually does so I did them like I would normally do in the same order an all, but it proceeded to tell me this action is unavailable. Then they completely uninstalled. I was able to reinstall all of the required mods besides Sim Settlement 2ch2 it just tells me that the action is unavailable. I don't believe any updates we're done being that everything disappeared for a minute, but I'm also not for sure. Even if they did I can't find out lol I won't be able to load that specific save without part 2 unfortunately.

Posting here because I am crashing to desktop whenever I try to enter the HQ. Never had this issue before the patch. It could very well be something on my end but I want to know if any other people have the same problem before I go through the tedious fixing process.

Hi,
I am having several problems with 2.1.3 and starting a new game.
On the first attempt I got a message saying the SS2 startup scripts failed to run, or something like that.
So I deleted Fallout 4 and redownloaded a clean copy. And I got as far as Jakes first quest "laying foundations" I place the residential plot and Jake just walks away, I tried waiting 10 mins but he seemed to be heading to concord.

Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch.esp - v2.1.3
HUDFramework.esm - v1.0f
WorkshopFramework.esm - v2.2.1
SS2.esm - v2.1.3
SS2_XPAC_Chapter2.esm - v2.1.3
SS2_CityPlanPack_RiseOfTheCommonwealth.esp - v2.1.3
SS2Extended.esp - v2.1.3
SS2Extended_OutfitInjectionPatch.esp 2.0.2a

Also Buffout 4 with all prerequisites

I saw Rise of the Commonwealth updated in the patch???!!
Wow that is something
But still, the fast travel points are clipping is still a bug even after all these patches I'm still complaining on :(

I have been crashing to desktop when trying to enter HQ since I installed the new patch. I have been playing with this file for a while and it is quite built up. I tried entering HQ with a much older save (a little after taking HQ) and I was able to enter it fine. I am trying to figure out if there is a quest or something that I built in it that has been triggering the crash to desktop. If I have to, I will play the older save as I have so much fun building up HQ.:nerd:

+1 also crashing everytime I try to enter HQ, either from the doors or teleport in....I've also tryed loading an old save I had being inside HQ already an it also crashes.

Edit: reverting back to 2.1.2 fixes the issue, I haven't added any new mods to my game in between patches so I don't think is a load order or mod conflict problem

This is funny, as I assume all the time, my game is messing this stuff up. Just to find out in one of these patches, that it was an issue all along.

Getting almost the same when starting a new game, placed plot has no ASAM on a pole unless I move it and then it it reverts to the standard ASAM I can interact with instead of the plot one that you normally cannot, Jake just walks around spouting place an asam..

Issue looks to be the new Workshop framework update, it removes the ASAM upon placing the plot.
