Please post bugs specific to Rise of the Commonwealth and Outpost Zimonja in this thread.

Illuminati Confirmed!

Got two City planners desks on top of each other after initial build (lvl 0). Running 3.0.2b

Also some strange blocking of the terminal screen. Screen shot coming. After separating the two desks, the strange blocking disappeared.

At the mouse pointer .. some black ribbon in a crossing pattern at the bottom of the terminal screen.

looks like the desk within a desk is protruding slightly...

Not sure how SS and RoTC works with raider outposts, but I tested Zimonja by setting down a desk and assigning Gage. Game did the cinematic, built stuff, raiders started complaining (of course). The problem is that before setting down the desk, I checked in the workbench to see if I had enough materials. There are just a few items listed and no more. After the foundation level was built, however, there were 5k to 7k of each base item! I didn't have much built there to start. Certainly not 5k to 7k worth of base junk! I also feel that is the case after the several settlement foundations were built as I seem to have scrap to last forever.

I am posting this in Zimonja because this is the first instance where I was sure something was wrong. I know that all outposts share automatically, but this was 5k to 7k stuff. I don't have that much junk.

They shouldn't unless you'd set up trade links via provisioners.

At the first city build stage, the Sim Settlement system gives you back something like the scrapall console command does. For Zimonja that certainly should not be in the 5K range.

Where do you see these 5K+ numbers?
Is it in the workshop inventory via the trade/transfer screen? That shows what you have locally.
Or is in workshop mode, aka building mode? If you select something to build there, it will show you how much of the required materials you got access to through out you whole linked network.

Outposts as in Raider outposts, not settlements. Raider outposts share resources automatically across each of their locations.

When I try to build something from the workshop menu it shows how much scrap I have available. After 2,800 hours playing this game, I've never seen 5k-7k worth of stuff available when building something. I've used godmode in the past and that just makes it 999, but 5-7k?

Yeah. I put together that 17K without any cheats. I do a scrapall on all settlements I take over, empty the workbench, and trades for scrap all the time.

My Outpost was ready to upgrade to lvl 1 city. I kicked it off. Twice. Both times the cinematic kept playing over and over, going on *many* minutes. I even walked away from the PC and had time to fold my wash. The next time I tried to upgrade, I turned off the cinematic and let it do it's thing. Same problem that the full lvl 1 build didn't complete (didn't get the sign either). I thought to see if the city would Refresh, but the popup said the city was still under construction. After a while I simply left the settlement and wandered over to the Slog. Somewhere in there a notice appeared upper left that said a plot at the Outpost had upgraded.

As I haven't seen any reports about lvl 1 being stuck, I thought to put one here.

Lets put a pin in the problem instead for a little while (day or so). Kinggath is hot on the heels of something he found that he's working right now to code around.

Let's also keep it respectful and not snap at people when proved wrong in a side conversation you started.

Yeah, proved wrong about MY savegame where a few settlements suddenly gave me a ton of scrap by some great miracle . . .. Actually tank, let's not talk again. I'm done being here with you.

Hey hey hey now... before we start pounding our plowshares into knives, and our tin cans into bullets, let's all try to find a mellow side, ease up, talk some sense, relax. It's all about fixing bugs, and it's all about being cool. Let's relax, talk with a reasonable amount of sense here. I understand that you have some videos up, Library, that you're a reasonably cool YouTube cat such as myself... maybe you and I can talk about this. I'm under the impression that I've watched some of your work, and I'm thinking we could discuss the art of the video, some works are cool, I did like the one you did about "filling in the corners", the Dustbowl and all. I saw that one night lounging on my couch breezing some channels. Interesting art. I've had to do some pop art lately, but I'm cool on discussing the finer points, if you are. Let me know.

Upgraded my city to I think level 1 and had this happen with the planning desk. Had to climb to the top of the settlement and jump onto of the desk to access it.

EDIT: Disregard came back later and the building ended up showing up around the planners desk.

I have a problem with outpost zimonja city level 2. The City Planner's desk is levitating and nothing is being built under it.
