Option to disable plot maintenace cost for caravan services and here's why...

I like a little challenge and keeping plot and other upkeep/maintenace costs on is a must but when caravan services run out of goods and stop working, your whole economy system collapses and it is tedious to run back and forth wondering why your caravan services have stopped working this time. So in options it would be cool to have an option where once built, your caravan would always keep your settlements connected. Make it so fast travel wont work if conditions are not met or something. Thanks!!

Bumped. I would think more people would find this issue frustrating. In my current playthtrough several settlements just disconnect and I'm fearly certain it is because "daily needs not met". EVEN though I have literally thousands of needed item (cloth, caps, etc) across my settlements. I was wondering if this is because the gamecode / script does something like; check if there is enough virtual resources to run this plot -> no, then disconned. Now check connected workbenches if there is real resources -> well it is now disconnected so cannot do that. Well no we have a disconnected settlement. DAMN. :(
 
It would be faster and easier to create a caravan plot that has no power / daily maintenance requirements.
 
maybe as a cheat option but never as part of the core mod.
 
Just a thought. How about add a "container" that is only available to a caravan plot in question. Player could add xx cloth, yy leather and zz caps to one caravan and this would make sure the caravan would not disconned as long as the container is filled...
