I play on PC. I am always using Place Everywhere, and have used Scrap Everything, Spring Cleaning, Clean and Simple and as of late Horizon 1.7 to remove all the leaves, trash, hedges, shrubs and whatever else unsightly in my settlements.

I think they all use the dangerous method of breaking pre-combines with no option to re-combine. The only mod breaking only the settlement combines (Scrap That Settlement) is only available on console. Or did somebody make a crossover, yet?

I now saw SCAP: https://bethesda.net/en/mods/fallout4/mod-detail/4015228
Any chance this is like STS for PC?

Thanks in advance. I hate all that dead vegetation poking through anything near ground level. There is no reason any settler would build such a foundation/floor for a new building.

Thanks in advance for any help.

All I can say is what I know or do.
I use:
Place everywhere and Cleaner Lived in Settlements as it doesn’t break precombines. ha, at least that is what they say.

No idea if what I said is an answer, or If I have understood what you are asking?
