Old Paul vanished after making him Mayor of Hubert's clan

Hubert's quest completed, sent them to Starlight. Old Paul was made Mayor. He arrived, I fired off a city plan, then left. Came back a few times, no Old Paul anywhere including the surrounding countryside or roads. I did see Cola leaving Sanctuary at a high rate of speed towards what I presumed would also be Starlight, but Cola has vanished as well.

I thought maybe he had returned to Sanctuary as I've had previously assigned Mayors in prior playthroughs who never showed up at the settlement. Old Paul and Cola not at Sanctuary either.

Several times visited, no Old Paul. I tried the gavel and no Old Paul.

Fourth visit to the settlement Old Paul is supposed to be at, and also his original settlement. Not at those. Cola is also not at Starlight by herself. Do Mayors go to the settlement they're made Mayor of? Maybe I'll try that, change which settlement he's Mayor of, and see if he shows up.

Old Paul in not movable after that quest by any means. Here's what you need to do. Revert back to a save where you have Old Paul available. Click on him in the Console and get his ID. Then in the current save go to the settlement he should be at and use the console again to enter the id.moveto player command.

Lucky guy, I wish I could lose Old Paul. I'm a big Jake fan, but Old Paul annoys me. I really miss Jake.
