Non-plot objects still generating their costs

I had started building an isolated settlement (no caravan link) and was noticing rare materials being used that none of the plots I had placed should be consuming (nuclear material being the prominent one). I then realized that it must be coming from the fusion generator I had placed down. So I stored it and voila, resources were no longer tabulated in the counters. The problem is that I play with those costs turned off to begin with. Switching the option on and off did not seem to affect it in any way. At least now I know why I can never keep enough oil and circuitry around lol. Anyone else have this problem or have a workaround?

Well I've been to every settlement I have that has anyone living there and stayed at least 10 minutes to allow everything to finish loading. All resource totals are still off. I also turned off plot costs as well, with the same result. I should note that the plots behave as if they have no upkeep, they're just still posting the costs to the resource network along with the non-plot objects.

Any thoughts?

Hi, there are two separate issues and I'm not sure which one were talking about.
1) Plots and vanilla objects requiring maintenance cost even though the option is set to off in the holotype/MCM menu.
This has been resolved in patch 1.0.15 and does require you to visit every settlement to take full effect.
2) The resource totals being off.
This is an entirely different issue and is currently under investigation. There's no fix yet. @cbrgamer2 recently posted a great investigation which adds a lot of details. Here's the link: https://simsettlements.com/site/index.php?threads/i-found-bugs-in-the-code-and-fixes-for-them.18761/

I did not fully understand what you mean by your last sentence. Plots behave as if the y have no upkeep but post costs to the network? Is that a visual issue with the numbers in the HUD which show cost that are not actually deducted?
