NMM - login server issues?

Has anyone been having issues with the NMM login server sending the login token? I have been getting unexpected errors from NMM login server and haven't been able to access downloads.

Also, it has been wanting to do an NMM update but says failure of the server.

and no, I haven't changed any computer settings ie firewall.
