Question My raiders keep unequipping items

Turned off all settings I could find so the armory doesn't equip them, went to each warrior and turned off armory equip function. Equipped all the raiders with the gear I want them to have and removed all their default gear. I go for an assault, and half my warriors have unequipped the gear and are using pipe weapons again.

I did have all the gear customized using CC skins, so I will go back and change their gear to not have any CC customizations to see if that made a difference, though if it did, I don't understand why.

Gear is full leather and double barrel shotguns and combat shotguns. With CC skins. Also must note that UCO mod is used for upgrades.

Will post findings later when I do this and see what happens. I didn't put in as a bug report yet because it might not be as big of a hassle.
On Xbox by the way, just in case someone else looks into this.
 
Hmm - I'll add this to my list, but I can't imagine both of those settings failing (the armory settings and the individual warrior settings).

Likely something else going on here. Any mods that attempt to equip weapons will cause an NPC to restore to whatever Outfit record it has set.

One thing that might be causing it is the shooting range from the Creation Club. That thing equips pipe pistols on people so probably forces them to their outfit record again. I know we have a Shooting Range plot in Conqueror that does this as well, and I'm going to have to come up with a solution for it.
 
I don't have settlement ambush kit from cc (the one with shooting range), and I don't have your shooting range in any of my outposts either.
I did notice that it only happens when I use 10+ troops on an attack. If I stay below the 10 attackers, I don't see an equipment issue.
Alas my game is starting to suffer though, I really need to get a PC, lol

I get this everytime a raider uses the Shooting Range. Just standing... Buttnaked firing a minigun.. At first I thought it was due to cc armor but even gangers with vanilla armor do this.

The shooting range is interesting. I gave Shooting Range Dude a fancy helmet and a minigun and turned off armory supply in his sub-menu.

But, his inventory seems to be influx because he actually uses different weapons at the shooting range.

And he always reverts to whatever armor he was wearing when you first assigned him to the plot (unless you've removed it from his inventory then I suspect it's nekkid gun party time.)

He also seems to produce ammo. Every time I check his inventory he has around 800-900 minigun rounds even though he doesn't always have the minigun I gave him in his inventory. I take them and then later he has more.
