Bug My beer is too strong.

I think I have the perk that "makes packaged food 5% better" or something, which applies to certain beers for certain reasons; in prior releases I've seen beers give 2.1 points of a stat or something.

I believe it's related to restoring health or removing radiation. None of the alcohol in the base game behaves this way, and the beers that are only stat buffs also aren't affected.

How are they affected? Well, there's no decimal point anymore. (the first screenshot is before I drunk the beer, which is why my carry weight isn't affected)

Holy beer! Where do you produce this strong ale? It might be a bug, but for me it's a feature!

But seriously. Where do you got this beer? It's from a SS plot? My character it's an alcoholic, so every kind of alcohol is good for roleplaying. He can't stand drinkin more of that piss he calls beer.

That's a feature! It's a reference to Morrowind, specifically, the alchemy trick! :)

In all seriousness, that's an interesting bug. Is that a vanilla perk?

From Industrial Revolution. Just build a well (advanced industrial) and the brewery is one of the tier 2 upgrades. It comes with instructions on how to beer (refresh the plot, sometimes they Bethesda through the table, and the floor, and the foundation...) and a selection of recipes. Industrial Revolution will also populate the world with a selection of additional recipes, usually in a bar or alcohol-related place underneath a bottle of "homemade beer".

(the concord lager, flower pilsner, and heisenberg white are all custom beers, in addition to the mud farms ones, but none of them are restorative so none of them are bugged.)

Hmm. Haven't got the one I thought it was - it's a wasteland survival guide, but I don't have it yet.. Have got a perk that increases the effects of fruits and vegetables by 50% from a WSG though.I think that's about the only one that might be applicable - a rank of medic, a couple ranks of Chemist, a rank of Party Girl, but I dunno if those do anything.

Cooked food with heals and stat buffs doesn't seem to be affected.

Having brewed some beers that restore health but don't affect rads, I can add a further datapoint that this ridiculous overtuning only happens to beers that reduce rads. Still not sure why it might be happening.
