Missing audio. Robco Guy/Jake's Radio

For whatever reason when the audio for Robco Guy plays I hear nothing or I assume there is supposed to be audio here dialog text plays but no sound. Same goes for Jake's Radio all I hear is Jake saying the message will be repeated but all I hear is dead air.

I'm tried reinstalling the mod to no avail.
 
Got the most recent version of the mod? I had thr same issue in the very first file uploaded to Nexus but it was fixed in later versions for me.
 
Just checked and it appears I do have the lastest version. I did notice something odd. After leaving. Jack's Private Radio for way way too long I suddenly started hearing sound from a radio mod I have. What I can't figure out is how it would be possible for two different mods to have named their sound files the same.

Having seen the way the SS team names files/scripts, I find it pretty dang unlikely thats the issue (clearly some professional coders on the team), but sadly I am out of ideas beyond just removing that other radio mod anyway.
 
I've removed the other mod and it did not do anything significant. I too am perplexed at why this could be happening it's highly unlikely as you said for two audio files to be named the same. It's very odd since Jake is always audible completely even in the radio I can hear him say "This message will be repeated in 3 2 1..." then dead air. It's perplexing since it's completely illogical that the rest of the message would be silence. Every unique NPC is audible only Robco Guy and the Radio messages other than Jake's message as above is audible it makes no sense.
 
1.0.1 still haven't figure it out yet. Although purely by accident I reloaded the game many times and the once silent NPC suddenly talks with sound so I'm not sure maybe it's just not triggering fast enough or the script for some reason isn't pulling it? Donno.
