Sim Settlements on Xbox has been a staple for every playthrough I've made since it first came out. Half the time in my playthroughs I may never even touch the settlement system, but the idea of playing without the mod just feels wrong after all this time, with the mod giving so much more utility to more features of the game than just a cosmetic settlement system, giving purpose to settler overhauls, giving outposts for survival, and offering so much room for developing the world and role-playing choices. However, one of the biggest problems on console is memory, with Sim Settlements eating at least an eighth of the console's memory, and that's with the Lite version and no add-ons/expansions at all. While I don't find too many add-ons necessary to build a full experience, the problem is that the base Sim Settlement file is undeveloped on certain plot types. Residential, Agricultural, and Shop plots are more than greatly populated for vanilla play, but Martial, Recreational, Industrial plots all only have 1 plot respective each, though granted they also all have interior plots as well.
One thing I think would benefit the Xbox community greatly would be an add-on to fill in the gaps of Sim Settlements Lite, containing a handful of plots of each type, with Recreational and Martial plots being added to give more flavor and customization to towns, and Industrial plots giving more options to the world as a sort of light-weight compromise for Industrial Revolution. Maybe say a few relatively simple plot types for martial, more towers, sandbags, or any such designs using (mostly) vanilla assets, so say 3 martial plot types of either 1x1 or 2x2 in order to allow a town's defense not to be too familiar; say maybe 2 recreational plots, since recreational plots tend not to be as abundant, with simple themes such as a sport or game area or a library; and a decent number of regular, non-advanced industrial plots, something not too common with add-ons, giving more utility options to the settlement without needing the Industrial Revolution add-on, with two examples I've played with from add-ons before being making cement such as in Sim Homesteaders, and water desalinators such as in Junktown, in particular the latter would allow greater usage of plots and let players avoid spamming water generators the same way vanilla game settlements spam turrets.
I love Sim Settlements to death, and I genuinely refuse to play Fallout 4 without it anymore, but memory constraints make sacrifices all too common on Xbox for various add-ons. Uituit's Junktown add-on manages to add enough content to those emptier areas to make Sim Settlements feel alive, but is just a bit too heavy in space to heavily mod in other areas. I can manage to get a close, light weight experience, at present only using Brae's Defense Pack and SimTowers to keep the total below 300 mbs while only having an empty industrial space, but I'm just hoping someone might be interested in the idea of making something that can at least fill the gaps in a convenient and lightweight package on top of Sim Settlements Lite.
