My game shit the fan this morning for reasons, so I'm back to the start.

This game I think I'm going to take RR as my HQ. Then I'm going to take Starlight as a second outpost before I get my w/r/e needs locked down. I'll send everyone except Jammer to Starlight, leaving him all alone at RR. Maybe with just one guard.

When I am able to recruit, I'll lock everything down by controlling the number of beds. A few guys per day that I'll redeploy some where else. My goal will be to keep Jammer and all quest related interactions isolated from the congestion of a heavily populated outpost.

For science!

I'm using the nine titted molerat version of the mod. He won't just be fine, he'll be happy.

And you will still get character pathing issues. I did, for some strange reason they would walk all the way round starlight bounderies just to meet up and talk in the radioactive pond.

One of the first things I do after clearing out the radioactive barrels is cover that puddle pit with floor grating. Later I'll use Place Anywhere to clip a water purifier through the grates. There's a settlement spawn point right to the NE corner of the pond.

Total tangent, but I've been using @VersusXV Swan's Pond Settlement. The settlement patrols that SKK Combat Settlers spawns love hanging out/dying of radiation poisoning in the pond there. (Seems that Swan doesn't wake up until level 20 or so.) When I finally noticed it there must have 4 or 5 bodies floating around. So I built a Medicbot. It would run around constantly healing everyone who lolligagged in the pond. It shoots its healing so it was like non stop bombs going off in the pond. It was very disconcerting. I'd hear them from a mile away. Downtown sounded like a constant battle: Just Dr Bot saving the dummies. And there's Swan still asleep.

Yeah, AI certainly lets its' artificial show. Several times I launched an attack from an outpost in the Mechanist's Lair to liberate County Crossing, and my attacking forces just kept rallying right next to the big radioactive tanker truck across the road. When I got close to them for the quest update, they would invariably end up just standing there trading fire with the guys in the settlement, or even just standing there *not* trading fire with the guys in the settlement. Either way, they just stood there in the radiation until eventually you'd hear them all keel over one after the other, like Hubbard's comet has finally come and they all just drank the kool-aid.

I think some of the rally points need to be looked at for environmental hazards...
