Issues with Navmesh for ROTC The Castle

Hi there,
I'm wondering if my issues where basically everything at the castle spends all their times either standing around or walking into foundations/walls of plots is a common problem and what I can do to resolve it. I'm not sure if this is just a general 'the castle' Navmesh issue or not. It seems like most of the plots picked by the default castle city plan aren't updating the navmesh. When I was playing last night I stood in a spot and looked in a circle. One settler, walking into a chair outside a residential plot, turn, preston walking into a foundation, turn, 2 settlers attempting to leave a recreation plot by walking into chairs, turn, cat walking into residential plot wall, and so on.

I'm assuming there is something going on for me where the addition of these plots is not updating the navmesh in the castle so everyone still believes they can walk a path that no longer exists.
In the case of preston walking into a foundation. I tried commanding him, he'd walk into the foundation a bit then say 'I can't get there.' I tried ForceRepath, Preston starts walking into foundation. I tried ForcePathFailure, Preston stops, then tries walking into foundation. I tried resetai, Preston stood there until deciding he needed to go somewhere, and proceeded to walk into the plot foundation again...

I'd like to fix this for myself, but I'm not sure how to go about it, so any advice on how to fix navmeshes related to sim settlements plots would be appreciated. Or even just to tell me why this is happening so I can decide to ignore it or fix it. I'd like to know my options and am happy for any feedback I get as it will improve playing with this already fantastic mod for me

If you've ever use Transfer Settlements, you know that when importing a blueprint the navmesh takes a nasty hit. Leaving and returning pretty much fixes it.

The same thing happens with a City Plan, but.. on a much larger scale.
If you visit and spend time in the settlement, not just pop in & leave, then leave.. return spend time..rinse & repeat.
That will help fix a lot of the pathing issues. NOT all! But a good part of them.

I thought that may be the case after reading about it, and last night sat there with the game running for about 20-30 minutes inside the settlement. It didn't seem to have any affect that I noticed but it was only the one trip. So are you recommending I spend a decent amount of time, several times, with trips away from the settlement inbetween?

That helps in most city plans. But, the game can only do so much with a bad layout. :rollseye
Timing your visits for shift change, work, relaxation, bed etc also helps, as the game is calculating pathing differently for each shift. Point A to work.. Point B,C,D,E,F.. to relaxation markers.. Point A to bed..

My problem at the moment is even if I force a recalculate, they just start walking straight into that foundation block again. Every time.
