Is There Any Way to Remove This Mod?

Remove the mod and start a new game or load a save from before you installed the mod.
Fallout 4 does not support the removal of mods during a playthrough.

Then how do Creative Clutter and others like it remove themselves with a holotape? It would be doing no harm except that city plans won't install without scrapping everything first, and this mod causes city plans to scrap the foundations of the houses in Sanctuary Hills. This is not only ugly, but causes the plots to be elevated from ground level. I got around it by disabling my own scrapping mod for the duration of the city plan installation, but that's not a long term solution.

Edit: I gutted this mod with FO4Edit and everything is fine now. I left in the quest and the version number, and that is all. :grin

Are you using Scrap Anything? That's the only thing I can think of that would allow the foundations to be scrapped. This is not possible in a purely vanilla game. (they are part of the precombines) Either that or you have a mod that allows them to be scrapped or something breaking precombines in that cell.

I doubt this is caused by WRK as it only adds records to allow vanilla and SS2 objects to be built in workshop mode.

I'm using Slink's Scrapping, which does break the precombines in Sanctuary Hills. However, it contains no recipes for the foundations and thus will not offer to scrap them. Those recipes are in Slink's Scrap Pavements which is an addon I seldom use, and am not using at this moment. The recipes come from WRK. I stopped using ANDREWCX's large object mod years ago, for the same reason. Nothing brings a person up short like accidentally deleting the lighthouse at Kingsport.

I found out later that SS2 itself also scraps the foundations in Sanctuary Hills when it is building a city plan and the precombines in the cell are broken, although it apparently contains no recipes to cause the player to accidentally scrap anything. I don't know how it manages to "scrap everything not nailed down", but I'm not a script whiz. And SS2 scraps Mama Murphy's chair, which leaves her stranded. Building a new chair does not help because she is evidently bound to the old one. If you speak to her she says "Let me sit down and then we can talk" or something similar. But she won't move towards the new chair. I have to lure her out of her old chair with "moveto player" and then quickly store the old chair, before running the city plan. Then she will sit in the old chair when I put it back down after the plan is in place. In between times she reverts to normal settler behavior, not at all like she is after a chair is built. Yanking her chair out from under her like SS2 does leaves her stranded. This is not caused by WRK.

I am sorry if I sound waspish, but WRK was recommended on the SS2 Wiki and thus I put it in at the very beginning. Going back to a save before it was in use means essentially starting completely over and I am tired of starting this mod over. Even skipping most of the quests it is tedious. Using layouts from my good settlements helps a lot but almost all of the unique settlers are missing because of the quest skipping. It feels empty.

I just wish Bethesda would release their NextGen update so Kinggath would finish Chapter 3, and we could get on with things. I'm frustrated, and I'm not going to wish for time to pass quickly because I have tax returns to fill out and taxes to pay.

Thank you for listening. :kiss

Does this mod not exist on the Bethesda? Cuz I tried searching for it and it's not showing up in any platform category. I'm on Xbox Series X but I clicked on the PC category and it still don't show up
