So you know, it only breaks down junk items, it doesn't break down weapons, armour or clothing.

I also use Manufacturing Extended, 'cos let's be honest it allows to make what we should have been able to make.

Yeah, after a few body cleanups I take all the weapons, clothing and armor to workbenches and break them down there.
Still like watching all the parts and pieces the machines extract come out.

Bad news there's mods that literaly let you salvage almost everything /outside/ of the settlement now.

Cars, corpses, trash piles, air conditioning units, brick piles, leaf piles, Vault containers, crates,

although where the marble come from has me baffled. I have 37 of them.

That said if I ever install mod that lets me put a settlement anywhere.....hmmmm
