Invisible wall at croup manor?

Hey all. I'm working on a settlement at Croup Manor but seems have ran into an invisible wall (?)
at northern wall, 3rd floor. It seems to be impossible to cross the white threshold.
I've removed the doorway too but it didn't help. Any know of a fix or workaround (apart from
creating an external access path)?

I vaguely remember having issues getting pathing to work properly at that point. I think I got around it by raising the step up a bit, not 100%, seems like a long time ago. If you have the Project Blueprint add-on that comes with the City Building Competition mod, it has navmesh helper blocks that can be useful for such situations. It can also be worth checking if a doorway is itself actually pathable.

Keep the dog with you and use him for all pathing.
I would suggest what NDCowdy also advised and go just a bit higher and see if this helps.

Piper is good for pathing. As well as she is a lazy drunk, will test every chair to see if turned the right way and always doing some animation...

You think piper is bad, someone made a companion called Bloodrose which is just a reskinned piper. Lol.... now you can have 2 of them talking!

I've tried with no walls (even though it was just a vanilla , higher steps, workshop
fly mode and it is still like the sole survivor is hitting a wall. I just assume that it's
something devs put in to prevent settlers/npc:s from falling out from the third floor
by accident.

You are probably right. Unless someone opens it up in CK, can't say.

Reminds me of that dead space by tree stump in sanctuary

I'm *sure* I've built something very similar and could get myself and at least companions (can't remember about settlers) through the door no problem... Maybe I had the door and wall pieces switched with each other?
