As I mention on Discord, this has grabbed my attention.

As someone that exclusively plays on Survival mode, reliable clean food sources get my attention.

I was thinking that perhaps there could be several factories. The Insta-Cook Canned Dinners Factory in your plans, a separate "Mystery Meat" one as you mentioned on Discord, one that can replicate everything the Food Processor can make, hopefully one that can output vegetarian only options, for those settlements that don't have a ranch. I've used this mod for vegetarian only options in my play through, and they certainly look mass produced. If possible Donuts from the CC content would also be great.

Ideally though, the food/drinks should work right in survival, as I'd very likely ask @wim95 to add support to the best eat and drink mod for survival mode once you are done.
 
Currently the planned layout is:

Level 1: Soup Kitchen. Increases food production of the settlement by 20%, consumes water (soups last longer then raw ingredients) and consumes raw food from the workbench to make soups (along with a few unique recipes to utilize ingredients that can't normally be used)

Level 2-1: Dried Foods Research +35% Food, might produce a few jerky style foods, not sure yet

Level 3-1a: Insta-Cook Canned Dinners: +40% food, consumes ingredients from the workbench to produce canned meals which will be a low weight, high value consumable

Level 3-1b: Cannery: +50% food production (canned goods simply last longer). Probably won't produce anything by itself.

Level 2-2: Vat-Grown Meats: +10 Food and produces "basic" meats (which, if you also have the soup factory/Insta-Cook Canned Dinners will get consumed by those plots to produce soups/insta-cook dinners).

Level 3-2a: BisonBoar Burger Factory: +15 Food. Produces rare animal meats.

Level 3-2b: Animal Cloning Facility: +10 Food, produces other animal parts (leather, bone, stingers, glands, etc)

Level 2-3: NAPP Factory: +15 food, - 5 happiness per human settler, -5 safety. Produces Food Paste.

Level 3-3a: INFP Factory: +20 Food. Produces Improved Nutritional Food Paste.

Level 3-3b: Sweetened nutritional Mousse Factory: +15 Food, +5 Happiness Per Human Settler. Produces an addictive consumable Nutritional Mousse.

I got stalled on this one and might scrap it. I like the idea of it, but I'm absolutely hating the implementation of it. It just feels clunky and weird honestly. We'll see, but for now I've back burnered this tech tree.
