increase exit saves

is it possible to increase the number of exit saves like autosaves? hosed my game last night (I hope), lucky I had an exit old enough before I installed the mods that acted up. The previous save a whole in game day before.

I don't know about doing that, but one thing I do every time I restart the game is to save it. That way I have a duplicate of the exit save for when it disappears.
