Suggestion I really wish there was just a "lite" version of Sim Settlements with none of the "sim" part.

This mod is notorious for it's absolutely staggering scriptload it puts on the game. I LOVE Sim Settlements, and I've always tried to integrate it into my games, but honestly I've been finding the script slowdowns and various features (like the assignment system (which gives me grief even with it all disabled) and the resource 'drain' system (which can't be turned off at all to my knowledge)) becoming more and more burdensome.

The #1 thing I love Sim Settlements for is the prefabricated plops.

I know there's very little chance of it happening, but I would absolutely cherish a version of this mod that had nearly everything chopped out of it, and all that was left was a system where I can plop a plot, pick the plan, and it builds the prefabricated plot. If it's a house, it pops a bed and that's all it needs to do, the bed works like any other bed. A farm just pops some crop job items or something on it and it just generates food like normal. No more 'lot assignment' system, no more 'needs tracking', no more 'upgrade tracking', nothing. Maybe keep some features like the foundation system, ASAM tracker, but beyond that, essentially the mod just turns into a prefab plopper.

I love the plots, they're creative and look great and make settlements look nice with minimal effort, but the overhead on this mod is just too much to bear.

Thanks for all you have achieved regardless, Kinggath.

Just use Sim settlements without any of the add-ons I guess. It's been a long time since I've used the basic SS, but I'm pretty sure that had what you are asking for and just turn off the settings for upgrade necessities.

When you do the configuration wizard, say you are a returning user and set to automatic and then pick performance wizard and set on low.

It will be pretty low key scripting and less babysitting.
