HQ & Resources Question

Sometimes when I am building it says there is no scrap. But looking at the UI there is plenty of scrap available. Is this more of a lag issue, a time issue (as in you can only build some many jobs in a row) or something else? Also, is there a setting in the MCM then I can set to ignore this.

If you are using the Task List (which is "ON" by default) I wouldn't worry about it too much. As you assign tasks in HQ they will be completed once the scrap is available, and those calculations aren't made until you leave HQ sometimes.

The Task List was a new feature implemented in 3.3.0 - it should show up when you look at your options either in Mod Configuration Menu or the City Manager holotape under HQ. It is a setting called "Commands Use Task List." If that is set to "ON" then you can select projects you don't even have resources available for yet - but it puts them in a queue and once there are sufficient resources (energy plus scrap) then the HQ will execute them. I was asking because you said you were building even though there was no scrap available - or that it says there's scrap available. I was trying to understand what your settings were before proceeding.

It does sound like based on your subsequent post that it is script lag though. Sometimes when you show up in HQ it takes awhile for all the number crunching to catch up.

Ok interesting. Is there a way to sort of bypass the "special energy" needed for certain projects. I have a bunch of high perception people at the HQ but still don't have enough. I have some people training down by murkwater but idk how long that takes.
