How to debug fallout 4 startup?

Hi,
what is a good way to debug the fallout 4 startup?
Some time ago fallout 4 started to periodically hang up on startup. I'd start fo4 via f4se, the game would start up to a black screen and load. However, 3 out of 5 times I have to kill it via task manager as it just hangs. The remaining 2/5 fo4 would take a long time (up to 2 to 3 minutes) to load but essentially start up normally. As soon as I'm past this initial problem fo4 runs just fine. It's all about getting to the main menu.
Any ideas what to try?
thanks :)

Try to start FO4 directly, without f4se or any mods. If the game starts fine, that might lead me to think it's mod related. If the game is still slow to load, might need to clean out FO4 and do a re-install of the game.

Do you have sStartingConsoleCommand="" under [General] in Fallout 4.ini or Fallout 4 Custom.ini? Running console commands at startup can increase the load time quite a bit.

You can also try to verify the game files through Steam.

Hi. Thanks.
Game files are fine. Starting fo4 directly is also slow. And I do not have the mentioned command in any of the fallout inis. So I guess it's some mod :(
