Question Help making CVC Dead Wasteland windmills and guard dogs compatible with SS?

Hello,
I've noticed that SS does not recognize the windmills provided by CVC Dead Wasteland as windmills, e.g., they still generate a resource cost. Also, the guard dog that you can create with CVC acts like a turret or generator in that it will die and start smoking when resource costs go into the negative. I'd like to try and fix these two things, but I can't tell what properties SS is triggering on for these behaviors. Any insight would be very much appreciated!!
