update, it only crashes if you go from the outasidede main entracne to the market, with some extra mod expansions entering to the market does not crash if its from the security offices

I don't think diamond city has to do with SS2? except "The Ron" and I don't think it will affect the entire area or even the save though

Do you have the Bobby quest that unlocks Hancock running and unfinished?(The Big Dig) There is a vanilla fault in that questline that places Bobby in strange places. If that quest is running try and finish it as quickly as possible and see if the issue does not go away. I should also say that fast travel from the enterance to the market is a work around for that crash if you are not in survival.

yea that entire quest is buggy in a way

entire quest is buggy
Yes it is and there are others that are equal to that in bugginess. Any quest that you have a choice to start seems to be, so I handle most by not starting them until I want to do the whole thing, that takes experience and knowledge. It seems that was not very good checking and testing on those type of quests. I am on an Xbox for most of my play, but I do have a PC version so I can make personal mods for myself, so I can access console comands to fix things but not directly on the Xbox. It is much easier to play different and not use console so I have learned work arounds and game tricks to lessen my screwups.

I guess the best chance is to install the unofficial patch mod?

That makes it more complicated. There are some basics we miss as we repeat plays. There are triggers that have to happen. You rescued them but did you have the conversation where Mama directs you to DC? I had one play through where I left the vault and went to the North Church right away to start the Railroad and the game crash every time I entered the church it crashed. The fix was going to the robot at Swan's pond and getting the quest to follow the trail. Seemed that had to be triggered and was confirmed by the powers that be when I I was posting on BethNet. Not sure if there is a trigger for going to DC or not. We don't have all the tools to troubleshoot on Xboxs so we have other ways to troubleshoot.

Can't use the patch on my Xbox since Beth or Micro messed up the game two or more years ago. The patch fixes the spawns and that little extra load makes downtown even more unplayable. The way they messed it up it is near unplayable but that added load makes things impossible.

yes, mama said go to dc inside the museum before they travel, i also have dogmeat with me. i have ine unofficial patch the first to load before any other mod. Other world zones seems to be fine.

You are sort of stuck doing full troubleshooting. Yes time consuming but at least it is a new game and not much to start a new game, but likely a long time figuring it out. This is not a common issue, in all my time on BethNet there were not many reports of this issue, but most were load order or bad mod related. I would find a save before I went to DC. Load that and head down to DC, stop before you talk to Piper but you want to be in the cell that includes the DC entrance, but far enough so Piper is not talking to the gate. Make a new save there. Exit the game and load that save for a fresh start. Then go in and see if it crashes, it will likely, but you need to confirm. Delete any save made after that save and always load that save through all of this. The game uses the most recent save to load so you don't want any effects from that, always make sure this save you made is the most recent. Now disable all your mods open the save again and see if you can get into DC, you likely will. That will make it mod related. Now start at the top of your load order and add 10 -20 mods depending how many you use if you only have a few 5 - 10 works. Keep trying and adding until you crash. As soon as you crash, try again just to confirm and when confirmed go back and remove the last group you added and confirm you don't crash.
Now add one of the last group at a time until you crash again. The one mod you find may only be part of the puzzle often the issue is conflicts.
Now that you found one you have to start the whole thing again, but this time you leave that mod you just found active. It stays the same place in your load order when you add other mods. Start with just that mod loaded and see if you crash, if you do then it is a one mod problem and you are done. Start a new game without that mod. More than likely you will not crash so now you do the above over until the second mod is found. Yes there could be a third but you will figure that out when you load only the two mods in the same order they are in now and see if the game crashes. If it does switch the order so that one is above the other and see if it crashes. That fixes many issues. If switching works then you can add all your mods back but keep the order of those two switched and see if your problem is resolved. If not you have a third mod involved and you do it again with those two mods always loaded.
There are things you can do when you find conflicts depending on how handy you are. Load them in FO4 Edit and find the specific problem and editing one mod and making your own version locally is a good choice. Removing one line often allows you to continue without breaking your save but it is still best to start over. You can't always move one mod above the other sometimes one of the mods is a top of the load order mod and the other is lower so will always overwrite the top mod, editting is then your only choice, other than dropping the lower mod.

so i installed buffout 4to fix other bugs
The way you are going about this is just wrong. Adding another mod to a game that has issues will not fix things just bury the problems deeper.
You need to fix the original issue. The way to find that issue is simple get too Diamond City make a hard save. Remove all your mods and see if you can enter DC. Assuming yes delete, any save made after that first save, and add the top 10 mods of your LO and try again, repeat until you crash when entering DC. Now you know your issue is in the last group added so remove that group. Clear your cache and start adding 1 mod from that group until you find the one that is causing issues.
Your whole problem is not that one that you found, it is likely a conflict with an already added mod above it in your LO. Get this far and post again and I will explain how you find that mod too.
