Force complete not working

So I went back to Jake at the end of "Picking up the pieces", the first mission of Chapter 2 has started but Picking up the pieces is still showing on my quests, and force complete doesnt work, what do?

Sounds like you don't have Sim Settlements 2 - Chapter 2 installed?
Picking Up the Pieces is the last quest of Chapter 1.

Have you gone back to report to Jake?
It should tell you when you get back to Concord Hardware that it's the last quest of the chapter if you don't have C2 installed and complete IIRC.
Been an age since I've just played without the other chapters.

Its gone now, and I did have Chapter 2 installed, but forced completion of a quest or skip to a quest isnt working

Hey, jumping in and I have the exact same issue.

I have chapter 2 (and 3) installed, I've also tried loading with them turned off and it still does not work.

I've tried the story skip, both options on the terminal, still nothing. I've also tried walking to Concord from a fair distance instead of fast travelling, not working.

Is there a way that I can circumvent this and just start chapter 2 instead?

Happy to pay ££ for a solution
