So back a couple of years back I replied to a thread asking about how to find what add-on a building plan came from whilst in game.
(I have edited my post there, but rather posting again on that thread, I shall put it here in first post glory of recentness)

Behold an updated list with more recent additions.

In game you should get square brackets with a letter code at the start of the plot name. (these are tags and maybe replaced by icons depending on your mods)
These tell you who's pack they are from...

Hey now that we have this list I was wondering if there's a list anywhere of addons people might have made for HQ... I struggled to find a single one...
 
@pra 's IT2 for SS2 also adds a teleporter room to HQ - it's actually incredibly useful. IT2 for SS2 is an add-on a lot of folks are sleeping on. I always use it and it adds a ton of great features. Nothing like stepping out of a teleporter to blast away the raiders or gunners attacking your settlements. The teleporters themselves can also be built at player homes so you can quickly move between that and a full settlement if you need to.

Are there any mods which add Outpost-only plots? In particular, more military training. Wasteland Defense adds an interior, but it doesn't look like it's still being worked on.
 
Some plots do exist but their building slow. My suggestion is to grab every plan mod you can from the nexus and then build every martial and entertainment plot you think might be neat. Use the contest mod to advance them to level 3 to check them out before you go to the trouble of building and working them into your settlement. I started doing that after a plot suddenly developed an outbuilding and ruined my setup :P

If your still having trouble I can tell you what mods I have that include the plots - but thats a ton of work so Id rather not :D

I need military training. The default 2x2 plan shows on the blacklist, but when I go to change the plan to it, the [Military Training] category isn't on the list for 2x2. (I'm doing the quest where Salvador asks you to train a soldier to L3) Instead I have a tower filled with interior training plots.I've tried everything in the tools/cheats section to coax the plan into the menu.
 
There is a 2x2 outdoor shooting range. The Enclave mod has an interior trainer pod. Tinuvia has Leg Day interior plot in Wasteland Ventures.
For the quest use the shooting range - it was playtested with that plot so in theory it should work :P
 
This is what I get when I activate the ASAM on the mess hall at my outpost (I blacklisted SPECIAL and relaxation plot types locally so I'd only get the military plot types.) Military training is not blacklisted

If the blacklisting isnt working right Id suggest gathering the info on it and posting a thread in the SS2 questions forum. I havent used that system so I cant advise you on it.

The list is fantastic (though I admit the way its organized for some reason I have trouble with). But it doesnt contain all the plots folks were looking for.
