Finch Farm Bugs for RotC

Please post bugs specific to Rise of the Commonwealth and Finch Farm in this thread.
 
Level 1 Cp Desk disappears then is back at L3
Double doors until L3

Definite bugs. I fixed that double-door on every level, so something with the final compile must have been off. L1 desk should be outside the 3rd floor martial plot, and L2 should be in the same spot as L3.

L1 desk was there for 2 seconds then poof...gone. L2 desk.. couldn't see it in CM, so not sure if it poofed or just didn't spawn.
BTW.. Nice Job! ;)
 
upgraded finch farm to level one. upgrade moved desk and tracker says its been placed in an empty spot in front of the finch house next to the industrial plot
 
Hi. There's some invisible plants on Level 1 which when activated (or repaired) cause immediate CTD.

They are located in a line next to southern farms towards the middle building.

There's also a static floating fishing rod way above my settlement but I can't be certain that's from RotC. :)
 
At lvl 2: the entrance to the police station is blocked by protectron nacelle. The CP desk is out of city limits, so reports cant be used from desk.

When the City Plan starts scrapping, items are actually "hidden" on the first pass, and removed later. If you enter workshop mode to soon you'll see exactly what you reported.But it could also be the code didn't fire for the removal part.

The CP Desk being out of bounds.. was fixed a long time ago. If you're using 3.0.3b KG might have forgot a file when swaping the chair around.

Ah OK thank you, that does match the issue. I've just refreshed the city, walked down to Nordhagen and fast-traveled back to find they're still there. It had been about 6 days in-game previously with them still 'hidden' before refreshing today. Perhaps it's an minor issue local to my save though.

As for the floating fishing rod; it's now moved itself to the opposite side of the highway, outside of the city limits. Spooky.
 
Stupid question: where is the desk for level 1? It moved from the top of the original Finch house @ level 0 and I cannot find it.
 
I looked again and I still don't see it. I'd better refresh the settlement. I'll just put a new desk down.
 
it *should* be in the barn in the cornfield on the left as you look down the hill.

If it didn't spawn, a refresh will definitely be the way to go.
 
Oh derp, I was having a senior moment and thought we were talking about Abernathy. The desk moves up in the settlement at finch. I think it's either in one of the buildings on top of the main tower or up on the bridge itself above level 0.

There's a spot in the holotape where you can turn on a quest to find it which places a marker on your map.
 
Holotape = City Planner desk :)

That terminal on the desk isn't just ornamental. You can even use the desk to craft another holotape with a different name to change the sort order of the tape in the list.
