Hello. Playing on xbox one x and recently tried to continue the story of sim settlements after the new generation update. I cannot open or even download the page in the Xbox mod menu for sim settlements chapter 2 part 2. Every time I open it it tries to load the description and then kicks me out saying that "this operation could not be completed." I am able to download other mods and even download other parts of sim settlements but for some reason chapter 2 part 2 causes this issue. I thank you in advance for your timely response

This particular issue actually appears to be related to Bethnet itself, rather than the mod - so unfortunately is out of our hands.

That being said, Bethesda are aware of a number of their server issues, and hopefully this will be resolved soon.

Commenting so that any other Xbox players experiencing this problem can see that they are not alone, and that this particular issue is Bethnet-related.

I am also having this issue, on Xbox Series X. Just posting for additional sight. Same chapter (Sin settlement chapter 2). I also am able to download all the other sim settlement packs, chapter 1, and 3.

There seems to be other mods having this issue as well (not made by the same team, so I won't post names)

I get kicked from the mod menu as soon as I open the the detail for the mod, not even downloading the mod.

New Location Conflict

The quest for the Enclave CC content takes you to the Atlantic Offices building in the Glowing Sea. It's been dolled up as if the Enclave are trying to establish a base there: crates, defensive barriers, turrets, and soldiers wearing X2 and Hellfire power armors. This may make it a bit of a headache to find and rescue Fish Food.

NOTE: I am playing on an un-modded save right now, so Fish Food and his adjustments to Atlantic Offices are not in my playthrough.

I am on a PC, and pretty surprised all the mods so far worked, but SS2 is completely broken on my end after the update. Said something about the issue of starting SS2 please contact Kinggath or something like that. Yes, I started a new game.

PC (Steam) here (edit: getting SS2 through BethesdaNet), and I can play the game just fine with SS2 (and several recommended non-F4SE-reliant mods) on the new update, but the last quarter of Picking Up The Pieces seems to be borked; when I go to report back to Jake the last time, I can't initiate a conversation with Aiden; he just repeats, "Hey there" and "Hi" no matter what I do, be it reloading the game or disabling and re-enabling him.

Edit: Never mind, sorry for wasting your time here, it turned out that it was just glitched and I was able to finish it after all. Was not related to the update, as I initially though.

So glad to see it wasn’t just me. Im currently only experiencing this issue when trying to download Sim settlements 2 (chapter 2), all of my other mods either no longer exist somehow or have downloaded no problem.

What about Sim Settlements 1, is there currently a patch for it being worked on? I am on Xbox Series X and it updated today and took off all my mods. I redownloaded all the ones that still exist but when I load back into my save it freezes every time I enter workshop mod in Sanctuary. Do I just need to start a complete new game or is there any way to continue playing my current save. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I have no idea how any of this works. Thank you

Currently on Xbox Series X, Just reporting a recent issue with the new fallout 4 new gen update. Seems to be Bethesda being Bethesda and has broke Chapter 2 hopefully it does get fixed soon with their servers same issue as stated above about a error message when you try to even download the mod. But also having issues with creation club as well so might just be server issues.

I uninstalled all my mods and vortex including all the relevant files and the game so I could do a clean install, my Question is how long should I wait be for installing every thing back, I am on PC. I also use 2 mods from Creation Club.

If you use F4SE for any of your other mods it may be awhile before an update is out for F4SE that works w/ the next-gen update. There are also probably some hot-fixes coming out from Bethesda for the latest update which could delay that even longer.

XBox Series X. Post Fallout 4 next-gen update, I am completely unable to access mods. "MODS" is grayed out, so I can't reinstall, update, or in any way interact with mods. :( Looks like I am being forced to use the nuclear option and delete and re-install the entire game, and then re-install the two dozen or so mods I was using. NOT a happy camper with Bethesda.

This was despite my having turned off automatic updates. When I went to play, it forced me to update. I wasn't able to play off-line, it kept crashing, so I let it update and now cannot access or use any mods. :(

On Xbox I can download and play chapter 1 without issue so far, but it will not let me download chapter 2, the moment I click to open chapter 2 to download it it boots me from the mod section stating this operation can not be completed

there is a problem on bethnet which made a bunch of mods vanish, they are working on it I hear

XBox Series X.

Click on Chapter to in the mods list and almost immediately get "This operation could not be completed"

I've completely uninstalled and reinstalled FO4 and all add-ons and have deleted the local save data and have gotten the same results.

The only other mod behaving like this for me is "America Rising 2 -Legacy of the Enclave". I don't know if you mod gurus compare notes or not.

Question; Does the issue with Chapter 2 happen with PC, and does it also happen if you down load SS2 all Chapters package!
