Solved Drop-in, pre-built settlements for quicker playthrough?

New to SS. Was wondering if anybody can think of a mod, saved game resource, or good set of settlement blueprints I can take advantage of or you could recommend to have all the settlements in the game already built (or plots layed out) when I start the game.

I like having settlements, feel guilty for the dozens of hours it takes to make them on a playthrough. Tempted to do another FO4 playthrough, but it takes soo much time and I really just want to concentrate on action (roaming, shooting, questing) versus building.

Was wondering other peoples thoughts on how to start a game where the settlements are already built and all I have to do is walk up to a settlement and do the minuteman quest (tenpines, etc) or kill the raiders (backstreet, zimonja) to gain the settlement and then just assign settlers to their jobs or plots already there. Was hoping there's a mod that already edited all the settlements drop-in style, but I also wouldn't mind doing some console "COC" teleporting around just prior to leaving or just after leaving Vault 111, toggling detection, and just going from settlement to settlement and importing the pre-made plots or settlements with transfer settlements, and then teleporintg back to vault 111/sanctuary to actually start my playthrough so I don't have to build later.

Anybody have thoughts on the best way I could or you would do this?

Update, spent a couple hours looking at kingaths youtube playlists (haven't watched the Conquerors series yet) and then looking through Nexus mods and it looks like commonwealth leaders and blueprints already takes care of this and that there's already save games stored there for people that already set stuff up.

If it's okay with moderators I'm gonna keep the question open to see if anybody else has stuff they wanted to add to the conversation, experiences they wanted to share, or recommendations that I haven't thought about yet.

You could use Conqueror and completely ignore its mechanics, just never talk to Jammer. But with Conqueror, when you start a new game you get the option to prebuild all the settlements to any level you like. It then works in the background while you play through the prologue and sets them all up.

Another idea comes from the Builder's Toolkit which you find on the nexus. The documentation includes a console command which lets you level up settlements immediately (after you have ownership, built the desk and set up the foundation level). Try that if you still want to watch the settlements being built.

Conqueror will certainly give you what you're looking for. But be careful what you wish for. The Fallout 4 game engine can start to really struggle the more settlements you build, the bigger that they are and the more settlers which you have. You may need to take things very slowly to let scripts keep catching up with you and/ or try to resist building everything up too much.

thanks for the advice. After watching the conqueror videos, I'm not interested in the settlement blueprints anymore like I was before (but city plans, yes.) The whole randomness thing really appeals to me now versus the architectural masterpieces I saw in pre-made settlement blueprints. There was one author, mrbun who had some really awesome settlements, but they're also already filled to the brim with turrets which was fine before because it meant I never had to defend a settlement, but now I want conquer and defend them. Looking forward to my next playthrough. I've been strategically going through mods to decide which 255 I'm going to add. So tough to keep it under the limit.
