Question Do soldier roles affect general plot yields (caps, junk)?

I actually bothered watching (most of) the tutorial vids for conqueror, and they were a great help and I understand how the system works.

However one single lingering question remains; what exactly is the interaction between soldiers and "normal" settlement resources and plots? I understand that the worker role generates more rations/equipment/wealth from their plot, but what about vanilla resources, like caps and food?
Does a warrior manning a commercial plot make less caps? Is an industrial plot creating less junk and upgrading slower if a warrior does it?
 
Best way of explaining it is: Soldier roles only effect Conqueror mechanics (W/R/E).
The actual job they are assigned to are SS/vanilla mechanics, so upgrading and resources will still be as normal no matter what their role is.
There are 2 exceptions to this:
1. CQ plots - they don't produce any resources, only various bonuses.
2. Agricultural has a 50% production penalty if you assign soldiers to it, plus a happiness penalty.
