Disappearing Plots Plans

Randomly when i try to place industrial plots , the plans are not there and Random is all I have to choose from. I have tried the reset cache that worked before but now doesn't .. Is there another way to fix this other than go back to a older save (been the done that :sad )

this has been an ongoing problem for a long time. Resetting the plot cache works sometimes. It may take days, but the list will eventually come back. For me it seemed to be related to trying to choose a skin for plots that had no skin options. I haven't touched skins this playthrough and haven't hit that bug once. I had it 5 or 6 times last time. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply and the info

Open the holotape, go Tools->Advanced->Reset Building Cache. Again, only about a 30-40% success rate for that particular problem. It's meant for individual plots missing from the list, but occasionally works for the whole list as well.

One other thing I noticed ONE time: when my 2x2 industrials were doing that, I went and checked the interiors and 3x3s to see if they were having the same problem. They weren't. When I went back to the 2x2 industrials, the list was available. its reappearance may be totally unrelated to checking the other sizes of the same plot type, but it did happen once.
