Hey, thought I give the MOD https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/29250?tab=posts Creations By Coots a spin but ran into a little problem maybe everyone/anyone else has figured out. So, I thought I would ask?

Running NMM (0.64.1) from IDEK's LS suggestion, and after buying the CC content "the doughnut shop and arcade" for Coots MOD I can't adjust my load-order? I click on "any" mod and no green arrows to move up or down and can't drag them?

So, the real problem is now my Load Order is frozen in place, no manual changes can be made but I can run loot and I can enable and disable.

Any thoughts would be appreciated, google isn't helping.

edit#1: When I uninstall the CC - Content "the doughnut shop, arcade, decorations and skins" then NMM works fine?

Only REF I have found is: https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Nexus-Mod-Manager/issues/241

edit#2: I think where I am at is:

IDEK's Logistic Station suggests NMM (0.64.1) for .esl compatibility

And -

CptCoots Creations Mod suggests the CC content "the doughnut shop and arcade"

Problem: Given the above link, the CC-content is bugged or not compatible (also a kind if esl file) with NMM (0.64.1) also has a bug report on github.

see: https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Nexus-Mod-Manager/issues/241

Can't rearrange plugins using drag and drop..

All-in-all as I already followed IDEK's advice and moved to NMM (0.64.1). I will wait to use the Creation Club content I purchased until this is fixed. Then try Coot's Mod with CC content.

Hope this helps anyone else with the same problem or helps me if someone knows how to fix it without uninstalling and later reinstalling CC content every time I want to manually change my load order or install a mod?

I've never used in-game mod manager.
I don't like Vortex, Mod Organizer 2, Wray Bash.
I stay on NMM v.0.63.14, because in the NMM v.0.63.17 and later (include current NMM v.0.64.1) a broken manual sorting of the plugins, if there is ESL files.

How to install ESL mod via NMM v.0.63.14, manually:
1. NMM does not have to be in the multi HDD mode.
2. Download and install mod via NMM.
3. Using Notepad, open file Fallout4.ccc (it's in the same folder as Fallout4.exe).
4. In the end of file Fallout4.ccc append xxx.esl on a new line.
5. In the next line, add another ESL file.
6. Repeat step 5 for the remaining ESL files.
7. Save file Fallout4.ccc.
8. Profit. Now ESL files will be loaded automatically as official Creation Club content.

!!!Repeat after Fallout 4 update or game cache validation

This works since Fallout 4 version 1.10.40.

A few things.... 0.64.1, the newer version of NMM available from GitHub, although able to manage esl files, for some reason 'breaks' the ability to drag and sort your load order in the plugin tab. There are a couple different options you can try. If you want to continue to use the later versions of NMM, you can temporarily remove the esl files from your data folder (just drag them to a temp folder on your desktop) and then when you reopen NMM you will be able to drag/sort your load order. When you're happy with it, close NMM, drag the files back to your Data folder, and you're good to go. Since esl files automatically sort as an esm file to the top of the load order, this really won't affect the rest of your load order too much if you know you have it as it should be in NMM. You can also drag/sort your load order, including esl files, with Wrye Bash, which is also a must have (in my opinion) to make a patch to help compatibility if you use several different mods that alter leveled lists.

Also note... the creation club files are automatically added to Fallout4.ccc, so the only esl files you would need to add manually (if you want to use the NMM version 0.63.14 from Nexus) would be the mods in esl version that you download from Nexus, such as IDEK's Logistic mod. I tried it that way, and for some mods it works perfectly fine, but for whatever reason, I could never get the Logistic mod to work doing it that way. IDEK did make an esp version available through the FOMOD installer in one of the last updates though, so if you have the room for another plugin, you can use that one.

yes, you completely nailed my problem and what I am slowly comming to understand as my available solutions. I’ll likely do as you suggested and just use IDEK’s esp and go back to 0.63.14. His is the only .esl file I am using and I have lots of plug space.

Thank you for clearly confirming the available choices and letting me know my problem was not unique.

I honestly just found this thread. Were you able to install the CC content in such a way as to use my add-on pack?

Yes, Good Sir. You had answered me over on the Nexus and SheWildWolf educated me over here. Between the two of you, I am up and running with CC, 0.64.2 and your Creations!

Given what Kinggath said about also using that content in the new Mega-Pack I am most grateful.

Thank very much!
