Suggestion CQ Tool: Force Terminate Assault

Currently I am completely stuck due to a bug that prevents me from starting new assaults, with the message "Your previous assault is still running, finish the attack or wait for it to be abandoned (24 hours) before starting another." Despite waiting several days, leaving the settlement for days and returning, picking different targets, attempting to start a raid directly from the desk etc, I can't get past this problem and I don't see any way to resolve it with console commands. There are no active scripts running in my save, so it isn't script lag. This is the first raid setup after taking the initial home base, so there's not much I have to work with in the way of older saves I can revert to. I guess I can restart (I don't want to restart) or keep playing and hope it eventually goes away on its own?

From what I've been reading, this has happened to enough people with no clear resolution that I think it would be good to have a built in tool to gracefully force an incomplete raid to terminate. I'm not expecting this to actually help my particular case but as I said this has happened enough times to different people with no resolution that it would be helpful for future cases. thanks!

Hmm, there actually are a couple of terminated scripts that have been in my save for some time:

normally I ignore terminated scripts because they are, well, terminated, but I don't expect them to remain in the save for hours and hours, through multiple session exit/restarts. Not sure if this is related or not but it is a little weird to me.

although I save pretty frequently I did not manage to catch either of these scripts in the running state so I have no information at all on what they were or what created them.

I've been trying to revert to earlier saves and unfortunately this problem is present right after I took the very first settlement, so I think it may be related to the no show/extra soldiers behavior I reported elsewhere:

I guess I'll try an even earlier save :(
e: yeah redoing the very first assault worked around this, so whatever broke seems to be there. still would be good to have a way to clean this up without reverting though, since a number of people have reported it.
