Clean save or not?

So this might be a silly question but do you have to start a clean game and clean save make city plans or can you use one you're actually playing? (as long as you avoid illegal objects of course) For example I got a raider - conquest play through going right now and a regular institute play through. Can I use either of those to build a city plan to upload or do I need to start fresh?

You can use your current saves if you wish ,as long as your mods don't change the settlement to much . Increased border mods may mess up your build,or mod that change the build limit.

So one more silly question. Can I have scrap Everything installed if I don't use it? Contest mod is complaining about it.

you can but make sure what u remove can only be removed with vanilla scrapping.
But its safer to turn it off while u do the contest .
