Church of atom are attacking brahmin

Who? How? The settler working in the church? If it's just the radiation hazard - "you have been warned"! Well, not you if the settlers built it on their own, but check the plaque. This is a Bad Neighbor!

EDIT: If people are walking around called "Church of Atom" or the ilk, they are probably visitors ( ... and you should blame Kinggath ...)

The NPC/actor spawned by the plot
Hm .. to my knowledge Jose never got that to work, it has never happened before. Interesting!

Would you mind helping me verify - if you are on PC? If so:
1. can you open the console and click on them to see what their first two numbers are?
2. then type help MJC 4 and see what the first two numbers are on the stuff that are listed.

Oh, it actually attracts a church of atom NPC, not spawns it. Those are the ones attacking my brahmin.

Ah. Then that would be a visitor from the core Sim Settlements mod (I think Kinggath is working on the factions for the visitors). I did put in idles for the visitors to use in Jose's churches. You can pretend that they are from Bad Neighbor and a feature, not really a bug at all ;)

So am I just supposed to kill them or let them kill my supply lines?

Are you a secret follower of atom? If not, I'd say Kill 'em. Or toggle visitors to Off in the holotape until the factions are sorted out.

I have a question about this, too, because as you said MJC never got the visitor thing to work right, but I HAVE seen Child of Atom NPCs walking around at random spawn points since installing the mod (which I believe he had as part of the description a while ago) and they are non hostile. Usually they're "Missionaries" or something like that. Typically they're escorted by a couple of actual Child of Atom NPCs who ARE hostile to everything, so I don't know exactly how this all works.

My apologies! They are Jose's - aka my responsibility. @Beebscalicor who has the full list of the SimS visitors says no Church of Atom people are on it.

Hm. I'll have to think about what to do - as The Typical Idiot Fan says, Jose meant the missionaries to be friendly, but the guardians to not be (I think they even have a special attack?). I think this might have to be set as one of the Bad Neighbors features. I'll put it back in the description (and check how regularly they spawn).

@The Typical Idiot Fan @AxoPax Do you remember if they have the face bug? Originally Jose didn't include the facegen-files. I first did, but shaved them off to reduce the file size for Xbox when they didn't seem to work.

I have not seen one lately. Typically I only see them when the random Children of Atom encounter happens at the random encounter locations, so it isn't something I can repeat effectively.

In the latest version of Always Free (1.3.3) I have set the Church Children to leave at least the Brahmin alone, so less mayhem in the settlements for those players that have them appear.
