Can’t “meet Magnusson” - Battle of Quincy (Spoiler)

I’m at the end of the battle of Quincy and I got to the room where you meet magnusson but nothing happens. He doesn’t talk. Clicking on talk with magnusson does nothing and clicking activate console does nothing. I tried rolling back and had the same result. Tried using HQ radio to talk with him with no result. My mods are limited to Sim settlements so I have no conflicting mods (Xbox)

1. Are Jake and Aiden with you?
2. Does Magnussen say anything to you?
3. When they are and he does, look up and to the left of the screen for the conversation.

They are indeed with me. Magnusson says nothing and neither do jake or aiden. I look at the screen and it says talk with magnusson but when I press A to talk nothing happens. Clicking on the terminal below him does nothing either

He should greet you as you approach him. Did you encounter Gunners inside the house, after you went through the dirt tunnel?

Yes I encountered the main antagonist and two other gunners and completed that dialogue with them

Well, if you did the plutonium well, the Super Duper Mart, and the bridge beforehand, Magnusson should speak to you. If he doesn't, then I don't know what is wrong. The only time I had him not speak, I had gone straight to the bridge without doing the plutonium well. Perhaps someone else will add more to the conversation.

I had the same thing happen, and the only cure I found was to quit and reload the game. After the first try, he talked but I couldn't respond. After 2 more attempts I was able to complete the quest.

I'm having the same problem. Jake and Aiden are with me. I've tried entering the room and then exiting the game then reloading. Tried exiting and reloading from a load point outside the door before entering the room. Tried so many times but Magnusson doesn't say anything. Gutted I can't complete this since I've mostly been bug free through the entire playthrough of SS2 chapter 3. In terms of mods I only have the SS mods and hub framework mods as per the recommendation. Any help would be most appreciated thanks

I never was able to fix it, I did a quick new play through and got stuck at the same point so honestly I just watched the ending on YouTube

Is your game on Steam?
If yes then try verifying the game files on Steam, before you next load the game.
Left Click on FO4>Properties>Installed Files>Verify Integrity of game files.
This has gotten me through several "glitches".
It seems like sometimes the game itself gets corrupted and this should fix those files or tell you if any can't be verified.
