I'd like to join the Discord. Trying to learn how to mod FO4; watching the 'Bethesda Mod School' series.

If you are looking for somewhere to hangout while you work on Add-On packs, we have a Discord server set up!

It's a great spot to get help, share your progress, and talk about ideas.

Please reply to this thread to request an invite, and someone will PM you a link ASAP.

From Kinggath on the Discord server January 6, 2018:
"We're going to be clearing out the server over the next few days. If your name currently has a white tag, you are at risk. The goal of this Discord server has always been for two purposes: to organize the Sim Settlements development team, and as a place for mod authors and people interested in learning to make mods to share ideas and help one another. If you are only here as a fan of Sim Settlements, I very much appreciate your support and enthusiasm, and welcome you to continue to discuss the mod on simsettlements.com. We have a great team available to answer questions and handle bug concerns on the SimSettlements.com forums. In the future, I may open a public Discord server for fans to hang out, but it will require we grow the support team by a large amount first. If you have a white name tag, and are a published mod author, a part of the Sim Settlements development or support teams, or are currently trying to learn to mod or create add-on packs, please contact @damanding so she can get your tag updated to avoid removing you from the server. If your name is in another color, you don't have to do anything. Thanks everyone for understanding"

So with this in mind please consider carefully your request to join the discord server. If you are hoping to join the Discord server for general mod support questions then please don't join. You'll receive the same level of support there as on this forum. If you're hoping to gain access to early information, spoilers, etc. none of that is available in the Discord public channels anyway. Thank you all for your patience!----Damanding
Could you hook me up with an invite?

Just a reminder to folks that if you join simply to socialize, hoping to get secret knowledge (none of that will be available without the right roles anyway), or get basic help on how to use the mod you will be purged from the server. It is for development, people actively learning to make mods in support of Sim Settlements and mod authors who can share their knowledge.

I would be delighted to come and learn how to mod. Oddly enough I have a lot of experience with 3D modeling and animation, yet I don’t know how to slap it into a game. I’ve mostly exported files to free asset websites and even film studios!
