Suggestion Better Slave System

I really only started getting into Sim Settlements because of Conqueror. Before, I used Horizon, which adds its own job system. I uninstalled it to make it easier to play Conqueror (Horizon re-balances everything). To replace the Horizon job system, I now use Industrial Revolution (which I am still trying to figure out). Because I am also playing as a conqueror, I decided to make slaves run the industrial plots, but it's not that simple.

I have made Sanctuary into a "slave camp" (an outpost where I dump my slaves to work in the mines). The problem is that any settler I capture with a slave collar can't be assigned to the industrial plots. This means that I have to claim new outposts to get slaves, or just have a lot of battles and hope I capture a new slave from it.

This system is a bit hard to deal with. I personally think that there should be an idle slaver plot, which creates new slaves without the need for battle. I play in Survival Mode, so all of my raiders die quickly (about ten casualties per battle) and I only get one slave from that.

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, or if it's how it is intended. If it is intended, I have a few suggestions to make this a bit easier. First, a plot which "makes" slaves over time. Second, allowing enslaved (captured by slave collar) to work advanced industrial plots. This would make me and my raiders happy, since I would no longer rely on assigning them to these plots.

To be able to assign any npc to any job in a settlement they need a workshopnpcscript attached to them. Slaves captured in the wild will not have have this which is why you can do nothing to with them.
Collaring is experimental until a way can be made to attach that script on fly.
You can build the POW plot which will give slaves each time the vassal/outpost it is built in gets attacked.
The most efficient way is to create a 'honeypot' settlement, with low control but high defence. It will get attacked regularly but if you build it right you should win fights easily.
You can then distribute the slaves from there to your other outposts.

Having a plot that just spawns slaves that you can use over time would be OP.

I think alternative methods for acquiring slaves would be interesting one idea would be to use the cage system and make a slave cage that will capture a slave. There’s a mod on nexus that does this for conqueror but it’s outdated and doesn’t support the new phase 2 stuff. Anyway if you wanted to go further into it you could make a “npc” that you run into in the Jammer questline thats a slave trader from “the Pitt” and offers to sell you slaves and that’s how you unlock the slave cage to build in your outposts you could make caps a requirement for building the cage as the payment for the purchased slave.

This seems interesting, I like this idea
