0 Warriors?

Was trying to plan an assault from the war planner’s desk in Vault 88 to liberate Spectacle Island, but the game said I have 0 warriors. Vault 88 has roughly 13 or so, but I shrugged and tried at one of my other outposts - Egrets which has 20 people. Once again, 0 warriors. I then went to The Castle and manually conscripted around 8 warriors and went to the war planner’s desk…You guessed it, 0 warriors. No matter what outpost I go to, the game isn’t registering the warriors I know for a fact I have. Anyone else having this problem?

Same here, I tried some other mods that could help but nothing seems to work.

Which version of SS2 Chapter 3 do you have? do you have the combo one or just the chapter 3 by itself?

Soldiers in Outposts:
  • Warriors are not assigned to job plots. These are the only Soldiers that can go on Assaults by default.
  • If you have martial plots in your outpost, those Soldiers will be assigned a Support Role and do not join assaults, by default.
If you did Capture Territories, by default now, 5 Warriors are assigned as Guards/Support Role at each Territory and are no longer included in the number of Warriors you can expect to be available for Assaults.

You can change the settings in the City Manager Holotape to allow any Role to join Assaults and see if that gets you Warriors.

Also, when you try an Assault from the War Planner's Desk, the first time doesn't always work properly, but if you wait a min or two and try again, the result will be different. Not sure why this happens, just has been what I've experienced from time to time.

Except there's a problem with you fix: I already have those options selected, and it still doesn't work.

Well, something is not working for you for sure. It was a suggestion to see if we could resolve it by changing some of the parameters for the Assaults.

Just want to gather some more information:
  • Are you trying an Assault from the War Planner's Desk, or doing a Dynamic Assault with the binoculars and flare gun, or both?
  • Have you tried all of the Assault types from the Desk? Have you tried doing the dynamic Assaults?
  • Does it say No Warriors available for all of them?
  • Please provide your plugins.txt (load order).

I know this reply was meant for the other person, but I figured I’d reply to this one to be the most concise!

-I did some tests and found that I couldn’t assault from the war planner’s desk or HQ command mode since I was still having the 0 Warriors issue even after changing the settings with the holotape and letting the game sit a minute. Interestingly, however, assaults using the binoculars and flare gun worked fine.

-The game won’t even let me choose what kind of assault to do since I get hit with the Not Enough Soldiers - 0 Warriors thing. It won’t let me choose anything

-Yes, it says I have 0 Warriors at all of my outposts (I have 4 of them at the moment)

-I am on console, forgot to mention that in my original post
