¿how I influence the building of some builings?

I started playing you mod this week(great mod btw) and there are a few things that elude me, maybe I make a list...
*The donation system accelerates the construction, yes, but how I should know which and how much material is required to lvl0 to lvl1? I guess wood and steel? Because everything is wood and I dont want to over donate.
*Why t fuk sanctuary have -650 security with the default plan and sturges as leader?
*how I influence the construction of a corn tato and ... to make adhesive they just make security and houses I mean I really want if they construct the 3 farm and do whatever after, but the game have 20+ settlement to manage that manually fuk that to infinite that's why I stopped fo4 the first time
 
donation system -don't know
sanctuary - never built that city - don't know
influence farms - in normal mode (not workshop mode) hover the cursor over the asam sensor (thing with red or green light on, if not visible check city manager holotape settings in pip boy) select (e) options, and choose 'change building plan', choose farm plan
 
Donation system does not depend on what city plan uses. It is the quality of donated scrap that counts. Things like wood and steel are lower tier materials, while something like ballistic fiber is considered as higher tier material. Higher tier material raises the scrap percentages faster than lower tier materials.

Settlement will return excess materials over donation, if it reaches 100% of required scrap.

Sturges is usually depicted as pacifist. If the trait is active, then martial plots will grow 20% slower. However, -650 sounds like either a glitch in calculation, or that your defense posts are not manned at all. Make sure that all of your martial plots are actually manned and gaining power.
 
Sturges is not a leader in Sim Settlements, you would have to have an add-on pack to make him one. There are no default leaders either, you have to manually select someone to run a settlement.

Where are you seeing -650? The game's default UI can't display negative numbers, so I'm assuming that's on the Sim Settlements HUD. Have you built anything manually in the settlement? If you add a crazy amount of food and water, you'll end up with a huge defense deficit because the game requires you have one point of defense per point of food and water.
 
mmm i build a couple of Water purifier - Industrial ...and donate all the food i have been hoarding that should be the problem, because no matter how many times i set it to recalculate is does not change
 
Yeah. Sturges indeed comes from a mod. There are few mods that add him in to a leader.

Which blueprint you are using? Is it the original plan that came with Rise of the Commonwealth, or coming from another mod?

Leaders Of The Commonwealth - A Sim Settlements Add-on
and the default city plan, I'm too close to the 256 esp limit and don't dare to add more mods
(would be great if the city plans come in ESL format or like a preset file)
unfortunately that fo4 setup is gone i wanted to uninstall the creation kit and ended uninstalling the whole game :( i just completed the install but that save had vivid weathers ... so is gone
 
Sad to hear. Someone has mentioned the CK uninstallation problem before. I haven't been able to reproduce it, but people are telling me that this can happen. I need to ask about conditions.

Not sure about the problem with Vivid Weathers though. It is still available from Nexus.

I would be still interested to know what caused the problem. I will leave this thread open for a while. Tell us, if you end up seeing the same problem again.
