After downloading this update, there's now a file conflict between Sim Settments and Conqueror. They both want to install mcm\config\simsettlements\config.json Which one should be given priority?
As of 3.5.1 several of these issues were fixed! :) Although some were not, on top of which I also found a new minor issue. I have updated the main post to reflect this.
So I decided to make a new save and start Sim Settlements over fresh, and noted several issues with the holotape options:
The Citizen Needs HUD is supposed to be in the middle by default. However, despite the option being Middle it always appears at the bottom of the screen. I have to cycle all...
Thank you both for all the info. :) Well, I terminated all the scripts, but now the game is stuck infinitely loading whenever you boot up the save.
EDIT: I managed to prevent the save from crashing again by loading the game in a really tiny resolution and just waiting for all the scripts to...
So, I updated Sim Settlements to version 3.2.3 yesterday and everything was working fine. I saved the game, and went to bed. Now when I try to load my save, it crashes like 3 seconds after I get in the game. I have a sneaking suspicion what it might be... This is what FallrimTools show:
I...
I instantly crash as soon as I start getting close to this settlement, specifically city level 2 and up. So I had to self destruct it remotely. No other settlement does this to me, even a level 3 Sanctuary will let me walk around for at least a minute or two before crashing. I have the game set...
I don't know about building plans, but after swapping to the Three-In-One, whenever I try to select a city plan it tells me that none are available. Regardless of which settlement I'm in. However, one of my other settlements upgraded to the next level fine, so the data is clearly there just the...
They do dissapear, but then get re-created.
EDIT: However, I just went to record a video to show it happening, but when reloading the game the flags are now gone. So maybe it was just an engine issue, rather than something wrong with Sim Settlements?
I think my settlement is bugged anyway...
Running Beta 3.1.0, If I change the Involvement option from High, the bottom of the screen will say changing to Low, but the text above it explains it's switching to Defaults and the actual setting will show as Defaults after. And if I switch from Defaults the text below will say changing to...
I'm really confused what the new Involvement options are all about. Kinggath said it's changing Local Options, but I never edit those because I want everything to be Global. So how does this work and affect that?
Does that mean the Global Options aren't used for any settlement that is turned...
When trying to change the city leader, it reports them as being at the current settlement you're in rather than where they actually are. As seen in the picture below, it says Preston Garvey is in Sanctuary Hills (the settlement I'm currently standing in). Even though he's actually in charge of...
I don't understand how they failed to be scrapped by the mod, if they weren't there in the first place. The settlement was completely blank, the flags were created by the mod when it built the base level.
Yeah, I think so too. The base level just seems like an oversight. I'd check if it fixes at another level, but I've gotta wait a while for it to upgrade first.
The base level city at the Red Rocket truck stop settlement has flags just floating in the air in my game. And no, refreshing the city doesn't fix it sadly. :(
