Question I’m probably just missing something obvious...

Fairly new user to the world of sim settlements, and I’m loving it, but something odd has happened. After building manually (not utilizing the city plan option) at oberland station and returning to sanctuary hills, I’m no longer able to choose a city leader, a city plan, or change plot styles. At sanctuary hills I used to have 5 or 6 recreational plots to cycle through, and they exist in the building plans on the planning desk, but I’m only given 1 option to build the “Central Park by Kinggath”. All other plot types have this same issue, and it is in ever settlement. They all seem to be only allowing (at the ASAM sensor) the options that I have while I was in Oberland station. Oberland station was the first time I had interacted with the ASAM sensor in any settlement, and had only had prior builds in sanctuary hills, tenpines bluff, finch farm, and county crossing. I have tried all of the options that I learned in watching just about every video that Kinggath has made, I have tried refreshing at the building plans location, I have used the terminal for the settlement and played with some options in there, but nothing has changed. I’m stuck with only being able to repeatedly build the same towns in every location, and that just took the “fun” level way down lol. Sucks kinda to see that other options are there, but I can’t play with them.

I have used sim settlements on a prior save, with many more character hours logged prior to ever starting sim settlements. After discovering how much fun it was, I completely deleted all old files, all mods, all saves, and started a new character from scratch using as much of the sim settlement add-one that I could afford space for. I have the 3-in-1 w/ rise and industrial, do not have conqueror or the 2 mega year packs. I have all of the city plan packs available, as well as all of the monthly contest winners. I am on an Xbox 1s. I have just shy of 14 hours on this character. I also have other mods installed, mainly the cheat terminal, which allowed me to fully stack perks and stats at the onset of my characters creation, and I have the HUD installed as well as SMM.

If anyone knows what I did wrong, currently not doing correctly, or perhaps I just need to give it time and do some quests, I would sincerely appreciate advice on things to try that hopefully won’t mess me up too bad. However I’m not too far from the restart that I just did that if I need to scrap everything it would be very easy. Thank you for your time in making this awesome universe of mods, as well as the helpful videos. I have learned a lot in the past few weeks!

im jealous im xbox 1s and crash after cities get to level 2 or 3, i like to build my own cities then conquer them, im hoping on my xbox now to see the options and ill post a pic and dont use simple settlements hes got rocket turrets and thatll crash the game fast too

just to clarify because a did not understand, do you have any SS addons? or just city plans? because city plans do not have any plot in them, they are only the ítems fot the city. And SS itself does only have 1 rec plot in it

Rocola-sorry, yes I do have (I believe) every add-on for SS that I can find via the search engine on xbox1s, except for those 2 HUGE (I only wish I had the space) year end mega packs, the nuka world junk ones (I don’t recall their specific titles), and one that would allow my settlers to take over the role of city leader. That one says you must have rise and the basic SS, and I have the 3 in 1 with industrial as the 3rd, but whenever I try to install that mod with the triple pack I get the message that it won’t work due to the required mods not being installed. I now have gotten back my access to city planning. I had to fire codsworth as city manager (he took it seemingly well, no worries) and scrap the desk and rebuild it, and that gave me access to city plans in every city again. I did this in sanctuary, and it did not change my ability to change at the ASAM sensor for what specific recreation, industrial, residential, commercial, etc... that I am trying to build. For instance in the recreational options I only have “Central Park” at the ASAM (as well as ***random***), as soon as I look at the building plan and it opens I have: one more cup of coffee, Central Park, rec room (also a SS mod by Kinggath), expandable classroom, expandable restroom, power gym, laundro-vault, and protection sentai exhibit. I take them out to try to put them directly into the ASAM sensor, doesn’t work. I’ve reset building plans, reset local plans, refreshed all plots, and just about every other option I could try to reconfigure, but all to no avail.

I was at work all evening and just got a chance to fiddle with it some. When I try to play with my mod order I have a few things happening. Some mods just refuse to move higher or lower than other mods. Is there any specific way anyone would suggest to load the order?

1. FrameWork
2. SS 3 in 1
3. Conqueror (Dont have to play conq but has extra plans)
4. city plans
5. Smm
6. char mods
7. armor/wep mods
8. foliage mods

@Chris Cotterman When you look at the plans in the box on the City Planners Desk, you will see Interior plots mixed with 2x2. Other than the Central Park, the ones you have listed are interior recreational plots (and require the smaller L-shaped plot to be able to choose them from the ASAM-sensor.

For more choices of 2x2 recreational you need more addon packs, our Wasteland Venturers have 3 - a coffee shop, a pool hall and a midsummer pole. Uituit's Junktown has 5 and there are more in other addon packs, but the Bethesda's search function won't always find them. You can see them all on the wiki, all that are on Xbox should have a link. (Then there's of course always the problem that Xbox players have with limited space for mods).
