Workshop Workbench Duplications

So far we've found duplicated workbenches at Taffington Boat House and Warwick Homestead.
This causes several bugs.. the most noticeable is not being able to enter workshop mode by holding "v"... getting the "you need to clear the enemies..." popup.
The screen below shows them separated. Highlighted one is the real deal. lol

Greentop is also confirmed impacted.

Can you check Graygarden, Abernathy, Egret, Oberland and Nordhagen? I want to see if my other builds are impacted. Also need a test at pretty much any other settlement of choice for a control.

Your control test would be Costal Cottage, Abernathy (yea!) Tenpines, Finch, Murkwater (I think)
Will bast through your list now. Just cause you're "kinda" a nice guy. sorta.. LOL
 
it seems this sometimes happens but not all the time or to everybody. KG is working the problem so probably ok to keep testing because it's a good way to appreciate things :)

Sanctuary
Tenpines
Red Rocket
Sunshine Tidings
Abernathy Farm

Effected:

Oberland definitely did something weird. I didn't see two workbenches next to each other, but when I was trying to mouse over the workbench, it would constantly flip back and forth between the normal "E) Workshop R) Transfer" options and an "E) Search (Empty)" option. I could hold the mouse over points where it said that for either situation. I don't know if it is just two workbenches overlapping, but definitely weird. I also was unable to enter workshop mode via the hotkey associated with it.

Slog did the same thing.

You'll want to disable/markfordelete the "empty" one.

If you've got Better Console loaded, it's the one that starts with FF instead of 00 as the ID.

Save first in case you get the wrong one and need to restore it :)
 
So I got this bug at Greentop. I have a mod that let’s you move and scrap workbenches. So I scrapped the extra one. If I come across any issues because of it then I will update. I am on xbox.
 
@Azwrath can you throw out the bethnet link for that? Under normal circumstances moving the workbench is a REALLY bad idea but in this case, may cause less gray hairs among our userbase and staff :)

(the short technical explanation is there's an insane amount of things associated with the settlement tied to the workbench object itself for some reason known only to Bethesda, moving it means those things all need to be accounted for and the settlement will break in screwy ways if the movement mod gets it wrong.)

Edited upon further testing.

Greentop, Warwick, Oberland, and The Slog all had duplicates. Greentop was the only one that wasn't stacked on top of the other.

Castle, Sanctuary, Red Rocket, Tenpines, Sunshine Tidings, Abernathy, Somerville, Graygarden, Finch Farm, and County Crossing were all fine for me.

I haven't had a town upgrade yet, so I don't know if it will get moved per upgrade.

Greentop is bugged for me on pc.

I had that move workshops mod on pc, but got rid of it, every time I used the call settlers thing it would pull the bench with it and it would end up in odd spots.

Edit, while looking else where I saw Kinggath mention about sim settlements helper, after installing that and using the item I still have 2 work benches, however I can now go into build mode without via button and not needing to use the bench itself.

Edit 2, nope don't do that, went to sanctuary hoping to refresh and maybe get it to level up, and while right beside the city planner it said you have stayed too far or incompatible mod, and then it would not refresh.
