Some possible content to add to the wiki for the quest Vim and Vigor.

Note - it would be cool if all quests have (mostly) spoiler free high level summaries.
(yeah, I can get started on that).

High Level Summary;

Following up on information from the Ron, the vault dweller heads to the reclusive Vault 81.
True to their stereotypical behavior, the policy makers at the vault will part with their tech in exchange for certain goods and services.
Incidents rarely happen in isolation as deeper events are revealed both in and outside of "Old 81".

Special Notes on Other Vault 81 Quests.
(possible spoilers).

Vault 81 has a lot of other player focused activity.
If the player wishes to complete Vim and Vigor but NOT start Hole in the Wall yet, the following information will be helpful.

Hole in the way has two possible triggers to start it;
a) Timer - it can be triggered after 24 hours in entering the vault the first time.
b) Event - if the player sends the cat home in the Here Kitty Kitty quest.

Therefore, if a player does not want to trigger Hole in the Wall;
  • Go to the vault early in the day - makes it easier to complete Mansfield's tasks.
  • Have the necessary Oil nearby (or already have it).
  • It is even possible to clear the water problem BEFORE heading into the vault.
  • Complete the third task right away, and return directly.

NOTE: This is not necessary for SS2, but in case a player does not wish to do other vault actions, this information can be useful.

Thanks, I let Cessori know of your suggestion. She's in charge of that section.

Thanks pakman, I'm happy to see interest in SS2 and contributions.

Right now, I'm working my way through Quick Walkthroughs to get at least those posted.
  • I'm trying to put in only the basic quest steps there, with some tips/options, without revealing all.
  • Cautions or additional info under "Notes" to help the player complete the quest.
  • I'm also trying to keep the information in easy to understand language so that players can translate easily into another language if needed.
I will go back through them all once that section is done, add in a summary/goal of the quest, the Detailed Walkthrough and Quest Stages when those are provided to me.

Your information will be good to add to the Detailed Walkthrough. Coming soon.....

Okay, on the topic of that mission: has anyone figured out where the hidden stash is in regards to the third task,

No, I have not.

I checked bridges near the area where she was found and did not find anything.

I also checked the bridge near hangman,s as that is the closest one to the reservoir, as since the recording starts near there, I was curious if that was the relevant.

I don't recall if I checked the bridge near beantown however.

Kind of a fun hunt...
