What if I missed Jammer's quest start?

So I went into Concord a roundabout way and missed Jammer on the rooftop. I cleared out the Raiders, helped Preston and gang, and sent them off to Sanctuary. Then I remembered: D'OH! Wasn't Jammer supposed to give me a quest?

I went back and he's still sitting up there on the roof but nothing happens. Am I hosed, or can I still get his quest start?

Honestly, the best way to deal with that is to just roll back the save and replay it.

I try not to mess with quest sequences once I know they are there.

There probably is a console command to complete the quest but I don’t know it. This isn’t one as a personal preference that I would console through.
