I have been seeing a lot of nice stuff and building styles/items since i started playing. But I seem to be unable to find a good mod(s) for building. Have yet to find roads

Currently I have
snap and build it is so so the snap points seam off to me and it is a pain to get stuff snap together right.
Have Snappyhouse which is overall pretty nice but seams lacking and can be a pain to use at times

tried homemaker ext but could not get it to work right even with ske added in my workshop menu gets all messed up and have no access to snappyhouse. snap and build or the default structure.

I would like to know what you moders use to make the settlements. I really like the taffington boat house only thing i really did to that one was added a another building for rooms and going to build a rec area/cafe on first floor. kind of like a hotel

All of Ethearon's mods are good but Vanilla Extensions is by far the one I use most.
Woodys Wasteland Stuff and Thematic and Practical have some nice stuff in them
Settlement Objects Extended has some great stuff but I rarely have a use for it, too esoteric
I use Homemaker v1.55.1 which gives it its own little section of the menu. I only use it for a couple of items I can't find elsewhere now

+1 On Vanilla Extensions and thematic. I tried workshop rearranged but it more than doubled my workshop load time AND required way too many patches to get to work with other workshop mods. I can't stand mods that try and force a new workshop setup. Just stick to the scripts like everyone else...sheesh. They work perfectly, and are completely compatible with every other workshop script injection mod.

There are some really good wall mods if you like immersive junk. General Dave and Workshop Junk Wall pack are very underrated workshop mods. Sandbag fortifications is great for forts/outposts. SOE has some of the best lights and light emitters and some random bits that you can't find anywhere else. Warehouse extended is the only warehouse mod you'll ever need, it's great. Kraggles (I think) pier mod has some nice features including the best dirt/ground pieces out there.

And all of this and more without using ske or workshop rearranged which force their own structure on everything else. So, easy to install, no conflicts, ever, and with settlement menu manager, if you don't like them, piece of cake to uninstall. ;]

G2m workshop is a must have for me, so many useful pieces for many different types of building.

I'd like to second thematic and practical, and woody's wasteland. Creative Clutter is also amazing for adding style and clutter, as well as "Do it yourshelf"

By the way. Do all Project Blueprint objects cost 1 wood intentionally? I understand it was made for RoTC builders, but it looks like a very nice resource for player builders as well. I was planning on patching those resource costs for my own use.

I guess it wud be , it was made for ROTC builds
I'm sure it wud be a fun job to change all of that ;)

A little off topic, but assuming the question will be answered quickly and very simple: Can anyone tell me which mod adds the straw rooftop pieces? I assume its castle in the sky or cabin in the woods.

Did you mean to say Warehouse Extension Set?

I used build high for a while and didn't have any problems withit
had to remove because I had a conflict with another mod (which I don't remember now) but the other mod was the problem.
Neehers extendard settlement mod has increased the height of most settlements
