I'd assume it only shows mods as "could be light" where all new formIDs are within the ESL range already, and the flag is all what's missing.
That's assuming that the Vortex people didn't do anything stupid. If it works, they probably didn't, though after that removal of manual load order sorting, I'm somewhat distrusting...

If Vortex indeed doesn't do any formID reordering, this feature should be safe. Reordering formIDs is a really bad idea, unless you are ABSOLUTELY sure you know what you are doing.
