transfer settlement blueprints power trouble

I am not sure this is the place for this, but I found thing about transfer settlements on this forum. I have recently begun using transfer settlements but I am having trouble with power, specifically wireless. When I started using transfer settlements, I began getting the message of power grid broken & asked if I wanted to repair. The problem is, that I had not powered anything up or built any generators yet. Not knowing what it was about, I just said yes to the repair & moved on.
I got to a new settlement & I was powering the interior lights with wireless generators & infinite power radiator connected to it. I placed about 10 lights & they were all working fine when I got the message of power grid broken & asked to repair. I said yes & now only 2 or 3 lights are working & everything else I try says I need power to use, even though I have power. I tried to R2K's gameplay mod to fix, but it is showing no problem. Can anyone tell me how to fix or what I might be doing wrong?

sorry, after posting this, I went into game & I realized that it may just be my generator or power radius conduit. I scraped them both & built new ones & everything works fine now. I guess saying yes to repair power grid damaged the ones I had in place.

Objects like lights that use radiant power can loose power even when it is in the radius of a power pole/conduit. This is a vanilla issue. If you grab and release the unpowered object in workshop mode, the game will re-check the objects power status.

I built a huge warehouse once. It had a ton of lights. Every time I came back to the settlement there would be a few that were unpowered. I started to feel like building maintenance personnel after a while...

I did try to grab & release before I made this post. There was no option to repair, & grab & release on the power radius conduit, the generator itself, & the lights I had installed, did not work. Replacing the radius conduit & generator did work. Even though I fixed the problem, I still learn more from reading responses like yours. Thank you, for your feedback.
