Time to Lighten Things Up

Ahh! As a fellow connoisseur, I should have recognized the sarcasm being served. :lol
If you notice the receivers expression... it's like a fine wine... that must 'breathe' a bit... collectively... as all the voices explode in their cerebellum asking 'wtf'... is he talking about me? (well like 1000's of times over... depending on the... size of the 'mental' group... no pun intended, but opportunity noticed. lol!)... like the movie Frozen... but with a face that Bethesda didn't work on... then as it begins to unfreeze... sudden realization... an epiphone of sorts... when they realize that knowledge just has an osmotic effect... it's a cascade of 'if that...' then 'this...'...

beautiful... just... beautiful...

Around midnight (sometimes a bit later on weekends), the computer goes off, and I go into sleep mode. Saturday night is movie night. It's good to set yourself a schedule, and try to keep to it. Everyone needs downtime and a break every now and then. Otherwise you end up burning out and some games become more like work than entertainment.

I beg to differ. The games will never be like work as long as crazy stuff keeps happening. Such as people talking to me from inside a concrete block. (I spent a few minutes looking for a door or hole.)
Or raiders flying up in the air after tripping on a banana peel, a poor little mirelurk running around naked without his shell: wonder where he left that?
And I could go on and on. As long as it keeps me laughing I will be coming back for more. :grin:lol

How about a mod that, when the Polowski door closes all rads are removed? or by clicking on the console a prompt for pre-war money in exchange for rad 'deliverance;'? This might make those shelters finally useful...

Or... to use them, some will be 'broken' and would require a science skill to fix in order to use. For the imaginative... have the floor act like the elevator in vault 111 and take the place down to a 'bunker' when the door is closed. Some could be stocked, others looted... and some would have the corpses long fogotten, or hidden by some vilianous raiders... and maybe an irradiated surprise if the shelter isn't operational or 'broken'. :grin

My first playthrough I kept expecting things to jump out at me. :scareYou know like a Deathclaw. Same with the bathroom stalls. They missed a couple of opportunities there. :grin A particular mod uses them as teleportation devices.

Wasn't there a ghoul that was in one? Near the Curie vault? For some reason now when I open it he's dead- not sure if that's the one, but once it's unlocked a live ghoul pops out!

There is one in College Station.
That must be the one... Thanks! I'll head that way tommorrow after I do a bit of bug tracking and fixing. How about we find Jangles or that cat wandering around the crashed spacecraft with a note reading...

"Plan 9 from 'Empty' Space"

(first line)
IDIOTS! IDIOTS! IDIOTS!
Wait... confused myself... oh yeah...
IDIOTS!
Earth recon team failed... pro-biotically repurposed ...
IDIOTS!
Intercepted intelligence from something called Puma...
Going to grab shock-stick and lump earthmen... whole lotta lumps!
Looks like another long earred Earth creature has brought the
Martian Republic a gift... a PU Space Modulator... pluggin in now...
....

They probably wrote that in Martian-ese. Or something.

For Jangles... just decrease the size of the gorilla and re-tweak the texture(and mesh if your daring!) and change his head to a helmet mesh. And the cat, put a small helmet on that feline tike!

How about a "FatMan" with the name "Duke" un-artistically scrawled on the side... a legendary artifact... a weapon of legend... hunted by all with 'nothing left to do' in the Commonwealth... woven into the history lore... and only known by the eye-brow teetering name of...
,,,

"Duke Nukem"!
